These are suprisingly beautiful curtains. They have made my life so much better and they make me happy! I ended up ordering multiple colors and ended up with the natural which is neutral and changes in the light. I have a light blue grey rug and bed set (from Pottery Barn) and they seem to take on a slight grey tone in that context. Also note these curtains are room darkening, not marked blackout. They are absolutely enough to darken my room and create a restful environement beyond the "blackout blinds" I had which were not as good as these curtains. It really helps in the morning, if you wake up too early and want to go back to sleep! Added bonus is that my sleep tracker is showing more quality sleep and going into longer deeper sleep sessions. I do owe it to these curtains! Wish I had bought them years ago! I wasn't sure about the grommets but turns out they look good and because they are large it makes them super easy to pull shut. I bought 2 pairs, so I would have a lot of gathering. To me it looks nicer than just having one pair and you don't notice that is isn't one curtain. I was worried about the "sheen" but perhaps it's because I ordered the natural, but they don't look shiny at all. These curtains are heavy, so added benefit is blocking drafts (winter here now and hope it works the same in summer). I also noted some noise filtering (I live in the city, so all of this is good!) My only criticism is the wrinkles. this is not horrible or a reason not to order these otherwise terrific curtains, just be aware if you are a perfectionist, you will need to work to get those wrinkles out...they don't "fall out." Granted I did not put iron or ironing board to them. They look like cotton, but indeed are polyester. I used an upright steamer which isn't as effective to get out every wrinkle. ... show more

They are truly *black out* — of course I got the black color curtains… and they work SO WELL! I think the other colors struggle to actually *black out* AND when I try to take a picture, it looks like way more light is coming in than there actually is. These phone cameras are too good at their jobs 😂 I had to do a screen shot of a video to get an accurate representation because even videos once you start recording adjust the light. Seriously, these curtains are great. I do not see the issue with wrinkles some have mentioned, they are nice and heavy and they look absolutely gorgeous in my room!! These are great curtains, I purchased them years ago and needed another set for a different room. The ones I have had for years are still just as blackout. At sunset when the sun is more direct, you can see the light but it isn't noticeable or disturbs anything. 1st pic other side of my TV by my lights. 2nd pic other... side of the TV closer to my window. Same TV and same lights still on. I just switched to nights in the ED and let me tell you.. That ish messes with your sleep SO BADLY. I ordered these after NOT being able to fall asleep after my 2nd 12 hour night. Since I got them my room is now SO dark it makes you feel like it is actually indeed night time and has helped with my sleep tremendously. Great quality and very dark. Came folded up but had absolutely no wrinkles/fold marks and I love the fabric. Blocked all the light I expected it to block. Just keep in mind that these are drapes, you can't expect it to block 100% of the sunlight simply because if you're buying this specific product then you're gonna be hanging these on a rod which means there's going to be a small gap between the wall and the drapes. I got them in black, and when I say they work. They work ! My partner works night shifts so when he comes home, and takes his booty to bed to sleep. Obviously it’s day time and the sun is bright, shining right through the blinds and curtains I got . With the new darkening curtains, nothing comes through. Compared to the ones I bought in Target in my kids rooms, small light comes through. But this one doesn’t. Inside it feels like it’s night time .
