these curtains are great! Exactly the size I needed, I layered them with the sheer curtains I had hanging already and I LOVE THEM!!!! they are great blackout curtains, very soft and silky feeling but heavy so they don't crease and help keep the room warmer! We have a 12x8 foot slider with trim that we needed curtains for. We bought a few different types before trying these. None were long enough or they would need to be hemmed. These technically are too long but we moved the rod up so now they drape the floor nicely. The material is soft and the color is a very light gray, almost white which went with the shades across the room nicely. They look pretty decent too, not cheap at all. They are not completely black out, so some light does come through, but they do darken the room enough so if you sleep in my living room you are not blasted with the sunshine at 6 am so that was a plus. They also darken enough so we can watch a movie without glare. So if you want a reasonably priced drape that looks good and darkens your room these will work. ... show more

Very pleased. Really. I'm 50 and was a 20 yr career military wife. I have owned a lot of curtains. A lot. These are so nice. They do block light, they hang smoothly; we didn't even steam them they just hung out. We are in an apt after owning a house and the lack of color ( we can't paint) is really hard for me. These run floor to ceiling and it is like having an accent wall of color. They are so beautiful, it really helps a lot. They move well on the rod for open and close. Even my daughter commented on how nice they are and said she bet they helped me to feel like this is more home than highrise rental. They are just so thick and hang so nicely. The fabric is sturdy and definitely blocks out the light. The fabric has a very slight sheen to it and looks expensive. The navy blue color that I purchased is just what I had wanted and is true in color. The only “issue” is that because of the thickness of the fabric, the drapes kind of fan out a little towards the bottom rather than hang straight down.
