The Niceday elliptical machine is quiet, operates smoothly, and provides a great workout. This machine is pretty heavy so beware when the delivery day comes. The package weighs over 100 lbs. so moving it will be a challenge unless you have a hand truck or help. Assembly, though, was straight forward and fairly easy. All the required tools are provided, and the instructions are good and easy to follow. Once assembled this elliptical machine is pretty sturdy. This is a compact elliptical machine, so it has a small footprint. This makes it ideal if you don't have a ton of space available. The tradeoff is that the stride length is relatively short which could be less than ideal for taller people with longer strides. This machine also has wheels to make it easy to move around if needed. This elliptical is easy to use and gives you a good workout. There are 16 resistance levels, and the display provides various readouts that you can track for your workouts. It is super quiet and smooth. So far it has exceeded my expectations, and I have had no issues with it so I would recommend it. ... show more

This might be a bit long but I want to provide as much info as possible when spending $1000. Let me start by saying I’ve always worked out on high-end Precor machines in my community center until I moved. I lost 200lbs in 5 years and have gained back 100 and needed the workout machine that helped me on my journey to being fit. I can’t afford a $3000-$5000 machine. I'm currently 5’4” and 300lbs. Things I like: Price. For my height the stride is great. It’s stable, not wobbly and I’ve been using it for about 6 weeks, 3x per week. I have arthritic knees and hips, which is why the impact of an elliptical works best for me. I have wide feet and the pedals are comfortable. I like the fact you can peddle backwards. The arms cannot be stabilized and so always move with motion, but you don’t have to use them. I use it in my basement with low ceilings and my husband who is 6’ would bump his head on the ceiling if he used it. I would recommend anyone taller to have at least 10’ ceilings or you may find the ceiling to close for comfort. As you can see from the picture it fits nicely in a smaller space. It’s also easily movable. It took my husband 4 hours on and off to put it together. I appreciate there fact I did not need to pay for assembly. The large box is awkward so you may need help moving it by yourself. Currently the parts operate smoothly, no noise. The distance, time, and speed metrics seem accurate. See pictures. What I don’t like: The monitor screen is light and hard to read unless I have a bright light on. The calorie counter is not accurate. I worked out for 35 minutes, my watch said I burned 300 cals and the machine said I burned 37…that’s not possible. The movable arms do not have the heart rate monitoring, so you have to change your workout and use the non-moving handles to check your heart rate and it takes too long to track as it starts low and slowly builds every time. The amount of time it takes seems unreasonable, and definitely what I like least, but my watch handles these metrics and so it’s not a big deal. I did a lot of research and chose the rear-drive over the front drive to hopefully work my glutes more than my quads, but I still feel like my quads take the load of the stride. Overall for the price, length of stride, a non-electric model, it works well as long as you are not counting on it for accurate metrics. For my purposes, a solid convenient workout, I would buy it again. ... show more

This elliptical machine is mostly preassembled. It's easy to put the rest together. I like that it doesn't need to be plugged in. The screen takes batteries. It's not the most technological advanced screen, but it works. The elliptical machine is sturdy and can withstand up to 400lbs. It's not noisy and is easy to use. It definitely is a stamina builder. I like that the machine is not long but the stride is still good. It's relatively easy to move around. I did some comparison shopping and found prices in the elliptical market can be all over. This style and no frills makes the $549 price tag almost unpalatable. Home Depot and Walmart have similar yet less expensive elliptical machines. This is currently on sale for $399.99 and that seems about the right price for the style. ... show more

I am thoroughly enjoying my new elliptical machine! It arrived well-packaged. In fact, you have to essentially destroy the box in order to remove all the parts. Be sure to look on the front and side of the packing cartons for parts. I took my sweet time assembling the elliptical and it took me approximately 90-100 minutes to complete. I was in no rush and did not want to make any missteps I would have to backtrack to correct. I recommend assembling it in stages if you don't have an hour or more to devote at one time. The instructions were surprisingly easy to follow, and the parts were easy to tighten. If a part does not fit perfectly, turn it around or upside down. Assembly should not be a hassle; time-consuming, yes, but not a hassle. I am very impressed with how quiet the machine is, especially compared to my previous elliptical. The tension wheel has 16 settings, so you can make your workout as challenging as you want for that given day. I have no complaints and look forward to many more workout sessions! ... show more
