  • A Desert Dweller's Best Friend: The Pool Sentry M-3000
I've been living in a desert climate for years, and anyone familiar with such a climate knows the struggle of constantly having to refill your swimming pool due to high rates of evaporation. The blistering heat not only makes a refreshing swim necessary but also creates the problem of an ever-draining pool. Enter the New Pool Sentry M-3000 NA231 Automatic Water Leveler, which is essentially a game-changer in the world of pool maintenance. First, I must commend the sheer efficiency of the M-3000. It completely eliminates the need for constant supervision and the hassle of manually refilling the pool. The device can accurately gauge the pool water level and initiates refilling whenever the level drops below the set threshold. It's like having a silent, diligent, and unfailing pool attendant at your service round the clock. One of the key features I appreciate about the Pool Sentry M-3000 is its simple installation and user-friendly interface. There's no need for complex tools or professional help to set it up. It connects easily to a garden hose, and once set up, it works autonomously without needing any further intervention. Plus, the ability to adjust the desired water level gives me control over the water usage, which is a bonus in the desert environment where water conservation is essential. Additionally, the M-3000 is surprisingly robust despite its relatively lightweight structure. It seems to handle the harsh sun and desert heat exceptionally well, showing no signs of damage or wear even after months of use. I appreciate the design too – it's unobtrusive, blending in seamlessly with the poolside environment, thereby not compromising the aesthetics of my backyard. In terms of cost-effectiveness, the M-3000 is worth every penny. Given the time, effort, and water it saves, the device pays for itself within a few months. The peace of mind knowing that my pool will always be at the perfect water level, even in the scorching desert heat, is invaluable. In conclusion, if you are living in a desert climate or any area where your pool water evaporates quickly, the New Pool Sentry M-3000 NA231 Automatic Water Leveler is a must-have. It is a fantastic solution that ensures your pool stays filled and ready for a refreshing dive at any time of the day. I'd definitely recommend the M-3000 to any pool owner who wants to make the most of their swimming pool without the constant worry of water levels. This truly is a desert dweller's best friend! ... show more

  • Great even at lower pressures!
I've only had the Pool Sentry a few days, but I already love it. The fact of the matter is that my pool has a small leak and I live in a windy area, so the water drop I experience is noticable. I'm also supplying the Pool Sentry with water directly from our artesian well, from which the water is supplied at about 18psi with no booster pump. I was concerned about how this might work with that low of a pressure, given that built-in automatic pool fillers generally recommend 50psi or more for the device to function properly. So far my Pool Sentry has been in the pool for 3 days and the water level has stayed exactly where I set it without having to tweak anything. Very handy, it will be a great bit of peace of mind when I'm traveling. The only thing I'd like to point out is that it took a bit of playing with the hose connection to get it to work because of the tight clearances between the metal ring that screws onto your garden hose and the plastic tube behind it. I had to pull pretty firmly on the metal ring for it to come forward enough so that there would be enough threads for the coupling to connect to the hose with the rubber washer in place. Otherwise, easy and quick! ... show more

  • Good for 1.5 then leaks
This works great for about a year and a half and then leaks all over the deck which we really don't mind but water isn't cheap anymore. It's not a quality product and cheaply made but will do the job for that time period.

  • Does the job/Great product support
We replaced an old leveler that, at times, would not stop filling our pool and cost us hundreds of dollars on water bills while we were on vacation back in February. We've had this one for about a month and so far so good! Easy to put together and set up to when I want the water to turn off. I did use teflon tape and no leaks so far. On top of that, product support is awesome! I called them regarding a small crack in the tube part and they sent a new one FedEx, no questions asked. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • The product is wonderful and works great.
This unit has been great! the first year of use no issues. kept my pool topped off where i wanted it. So much better than using the hose and forgetting about it. On my second year with the unit and the rod that gets pushed up by the float now sticks. almost overfilled my pool. there are no obstructions and so it appears it does need some kind of lube to keep it free to move with the water level. going to add some Pretoleum jelly to the rod and see how that works and how long. ... show more

  • Leaking
The system work great, but I can't let the water turn ON because the fitting leaking. No, it's not my hose, it's the plastic original fitting

  • Never worry
Since I installed unit life is so much easier not worrying about if the pool is running low on water and my wife is very happy that I don’t ask every other if the water is getting low. Last year I’d did and it cost me a filter motor!
