    • This neck massager is great
I own a few of these types of neck massagers made by different brands so I can provide a decent comparison. The first thing that was noticeable after taking this out of the box was the awful smell. I am really hoping the smell dissipates over time and if not I will lower my review rating. If I can just get past the awful smell, this thing gives a great massage. The way I've found to best use these types of massagers is to sit in a high-back chair and wedge the massager between my neck and the chair. This lets me adjust the pressure dynamically just by how much I lean back. Like all the others, the buttons on this one are not in a convenient spot so you really have to memorize them. Luckily the tactile feel of the buttons allows you to know which one you have your finger on out of the 4. There are 2 modes, 2 speeds, and a heat setting. There are 2 options for attaching it to the back of your neck. The first is the loops that you can put your arms/hands in and pull it down. The other option is the strap that goes around your back and clips together. The strap is a made of a stretchy fabric which is a nice touch compared with the other ones I have where it is made from an un-stretchable hard fabric (similar to seat belt fabric). This is one of the massage products that I will be using on a daily basis at my work-from-home environment. Out of the several I've tried so far I think this is the most comfortable and gives the best massage. This review is for the KNQZE store Neck Massager with Heat & with 6 Massage Nodes for Neck Pain Relief, 4D Deep Kneading Massagers, Cordless Shiatsu model KN9 I like a deep massage and this does that much better than I expected. I have to move it around to get it into the areas I want but from there, the straps make it easier to hold it in place for a while. One can get it into some positions that could be painful if you are not careful, but I'll take that learning curve risk to get the deep massage it gives in the right areas. The unit weights about 3lbs. It has a 32in USB-C/USB-A recharging cord. It charged quickly and has hasn't run out of power yet after over an hour total use so far. It turns off automatically after 15 minutes. I don't particularly care for it on my legs, but will continue to experiment. I think it has the potential to work for some in that area. The massager has a 1.25in wide fully elastic strap that is supposed to clip in under your armpits and on your back. I prefer not to use this and instead use the 2 non-elastic straps to adjust and hold its position where I want it. The noise level is audible, but low and doesn't hinder my having a conversation or watching tv. I don't find the heat setting very useful because the way I'm positioning the device the heated area doesn't really touch my skin. When the unit turns on, the heat comes on automatically so I turn it off right away. There are 2 modes: normal and pinch/knead. The only difference seems to be the normal mode is a smooth movement and in the pinch/knead mode it seems to stop for about a second, then move to a new position, stop for a second etc. There are also 2 speeds. I like that the massager arms have a zipper cover that can be removed without too much hassle and washed. I handwashed and air dried mine already which worked well.     • It’s my all time favorite massager!
This massager feels like the way my grandmother used to massage my back and neck. Since she was a farmer, her grips and pressure were “death grip” like to release the tension in my neck. It’s the kind that makes you gasp and hold your breath a little as you’re being massaged. Well this is so similar! It really has helped me release and soften muscle tension. I have used it every single day since it arrived. I absolutely love it. But with that being said, my husband hates it! First it didn’t fit his neck properly since he has a thicker neck than I do. And he does not like deep pinching massages as he is trying to relax. I’ve used the massager on my thighs and lower back too. The best place is the neck though. And the more I lean into it, it feels like it pushes harder and holds the grip just long enough until you squeal but then it releases. I wish I had this massager a long time ago.     • Ultra quiet, cordless, and really does work well for neck and shoulder relief
My wife and I both have desk jobs so we often have neck and shoulder pain. Our previous massager was one of those long, handheld ones with a knob at the end. It was good in that you can place it where you need it to be; not just the neck and shoulders. However, it does so by vibrating loudly (and the noise irritates my wife). And with one knob, it took a while to get relief on both sides of your neck/shoulders/back. This massager is better than our previous one in that it kneads and is significantly quieter. And with four protusions, it does mimics a masseuse's hands. It really gets into the spots on our neck and shoulders where we need relief. It comes with two intensity levels: STRONG and STRONGER. My petite wife finds even the lower setting intense. She can only use it for a minute at a time but she says that one minute is all she needs to get the targeted relief she needs. "It's strong but it really works" she said. We haven't used the heating and don't intend to. And we don't use the elastic strap that goes across your back either. We just use it by holding onto the two straps. If you need a strong kneading massager for neck and shoulders that is quiet, cordless, and inexpensive, you can check this out. ... show more
