Traditional Baby Doll: The JIZHI doll comes in a nice giftable box. She comes with a soft diaper, birth certificate, hospital wristband, baby bottle, and binkie. Note that there is no plushie giraffe included as you see in the pictures. She's dressed in a really cute outfit that could pass for actual newborn clothing. The quality is very good. The onesie is soft and decorated with an adorable pink giraffe, and the pink fleece pants and hat show off red hearts. The hat is shaped a bit oddly, almost too pointy at the top, and it easily slides off her head. I got frustrated trying to make it fit perfectly. Her eyelashes are actual lashes (not necessarily hair) - they are not painted on like the hair on her head. Her eyes don't close, they stay open. The mouth is magnetic which allows her mouth to stay in the shape you see. When she's "drinking" from the bottle, it's realistic even though the bottle doesn't have a traditional nipple. Same for the binkie. Her head, arms and legs are rubber. They are fitted on the cloth, stuffed torso. The body is pliable, and while the arms and legs can be moved around, they are not jointed at the elbow, wrist, knees, or ankles. She sits comfortably in the crook of my arm, much like a real baby. Aesthetically, she's very cute and every girl would love her. Snap her up as a cuddly and adorable baby doll for a young child. As a "Reborn" Baby Doll: True Reborn dolls were originally created to be therapeutic; they are supposed to feel and look just like a real newborn baby. This baby's proportions feel right, but she's not weighted like a real baby and her features fall short of looking like a real baby. I think this baby looks more authentic when she has the binkie in her mouth - probably because I find the mouth to be oddly shaped without anything in her mouth. Although she's not as life-like as other Reborn dolls, she's a quarter the price you'd pay for another. So if you are looking for a therapeutic doll but it's not important to be much closer to life-like, then this is a good buy. ... show more

Box was dented in three places. I need it for a birthday gift so I will apologize for the broken box. Also there was supposed to be a stuffed giraffe the baby was holding. Giraffe not in the box. Very disappointed for spending over $40.00.
