The U-lock system I was using before was wonderful first time out... with my new mountain bike (which I haven't ridden a bicycle in 30 years, nor needed a bike lock). I love cycling and I was even more impressed by the improvements of bicycle locks. However, within the first week I started running into space issues...or better put, limitations on how I can secure the bike with all of the releasable and detachable parts. The extra wide width and angular shape to the U-lock really opens up more consistent fastening when locking the bike up. The shape and the added room even allows for my bicycle helmet to be secured along with the bike (helmet has a special location where you can secure the helmet in a bike lock). Overall this U-lock system's strengths are quality material (improving security and protecting the paint finish of your bike)...price very competitive from more recognized brands...carries a weight and durability that is reassuring (for the owner) and discouraging to all other people from tampering with it. ... show more

This bike lock is excellent! It feels firm and well-made, so you don't have to worry about thieves breaking it. It comes with three working keys, which is great for those who tend to lose items easily. The rope also feels very durable. I would give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it to all buyers!

This is a lock, and it performs as expected. It's being used to better secure our e-bike and does a nice job of that. It can be used for other purposes as well. The lock is solid, the included cable is thick and hefty and should do a good job of deterring any potential theft.

This lock is used to secure the front wheel to the frame of my ebike. The lock is large enough to fit around my fat tire in conjunction with the frame of my ebike. Also the thickness of the lock appears to be unlikely to be easily cut through by bolt cutters.

Let's be honest here. All we are doing is keeping the opportunistic thief honest. If someone wants what you have believe me, with the right tools they will get it. With that said here is my review. This lock is well made and designed. The cable and lock are coated with plastic and rubber to keep off the rain so it does not rust. The key hole has a sliding cover to protect it as well. The cable is long enough to loop through the back tire, forward through the frame, through the front tire to the lock and, whatever your securing it to. What I like is I can use just use the lock for those quick stops at a store. What ever you need to lock up, this lock will get the job done. The lock is a little cumbersome to store on a bike. The lock itself is a little bigger then other simular locks which will allow you to secure to bigger things. I give this lock two thumbs up. ... show more
