I was looking for something more natural, and something that wouldn’t burn on application when I came across this product. I was also tired of going to the salon and them turning my hair every color, except what I wanted, and paying hundreds of $$$’s for it. This is the only home coloring kit that I have ever used so I have nothing to really compare it to, but I can tell you that I am very please with it. It’s super easy to apply, does not stain my scalp & leaves a nice, long lasting color. I tend to vary colors between the N & A which gives me a nicer, more natural look. The only thing I would add is that of late they have removed the shampoo from the package and I feel that a shampoo is required as part of the process. That being said I love their shampoo so I have it in the house anyway. I also keep in the house their leave-in conditioner which finishes it off nicely. My hair is black and usually permanent hair dyes don’t work that well but this one did a decent job. I ordered light golden brown which turned my black hair to a reddish brown. I like that it doesn’t have any bad odor like other hair dyes. Taking one star off as the grey coverage is not that good. I have two three grey hair and I can still see them. I've been using Naturtint for years because it is cruelty free and works even better than the chemical dyes in the drug store. Shipping was on time, the item was good quality and it does not harm my hair like the drug store dyes do. Great colors too.

I will have to use a little purple shampoo to actually achieve the ash tone, but it has lightened my hair and left me with no orange. It is maybe the best boxed dye I have used, and I have dyed my hair quite a lot.

Color: Wheat Germ Blonde
After growing and trimming my colored hair for about a year and a half, I was left with unevenly colored hair with shades of natural light brown, grey and white, and some brassy ends. I used Naturtint Wheat Germ medium blonde with the intention of lifting my overall color about 1 level and evening out my color (except for the white alongside my face, which I covered with foil). The initial result was brilliant medium blonde, silky, shiny, and soft. The color was pretty, but a little too “yellow” for me; I wanted a medium ash blonde. (Naturtint doesn’t have that option, so I opted for their medium neutral blonde.). After shampooing three times, the color has faded more than I would expect of a permanent color. The end result was a more ashy, softer medium blonde, which suits me perfectly. I am very happy with my color now, but be aware that the color did fade out. If you are looking for depth of color, brilliance that lasts, you might be better off using a professional color. ... show more

    • Lightens your hair to its color but doesnt cover grey hair well
Color: 10A Light Ash Blonde
Naturint 10A is superb in lightening hair from the first use but the only downside is that is doesnt cover well grey hair. You need to mix it with 8A to achive that (half of color and half of creme) Overall is healthier than any other brand I have tried and know.

I couldn’t be happier with this. My hair is naturally mostly white but I do have some dark grey. I like to look blond instead of grey and white. This covered it completely and my hair is now one color. Left it on 40 minutes.
