Love the look of the knives and they are pretty sharp. Also, love the block it comes in, except you have to be careful when putting the steak knives into the block. Otherwise, you will chip the paint. My only other concern is how long the wood portion will hold up, but I suppose only time will tell. The media could not be loaded. I've been a chef for twenty years and use knives every day and these are some of the sharpest and lightest knives I've ever used. They're so easy to hold and they clean incredibly quickly. I handwash them but one of them went through the dishwasher accidentally and it came out fine. I appreciate these knives because it is a size for every type of meat or fruit. The small size can be used to cut fish up and there are large sizes for cutting up watermelon. I was going to give a 4 star review because I thought this set was overpriced, but I checked and they've decreased the price by over 25% from when I first ordered them. At the current price point they are 5 star knives. The handles are simple, but they have excellent detailing on the ends. The grain of the wood is high quality. The blades themselves are adequate. I wash my knives by hand so the wood handles are okay for me. If you like to run your knives through the dishwasher the handles could be problematic for you, ... show more

    • It’s a pretty nice set of knives.
This set isn’t bad. It’s lighter than I expected and for some that will be a good thing. I personally like a bit more weight to my knives. The blades are sharp but I’m waiting to see how well they hold an edge. The handles are very soft and smooth and they are comfortable in the hand.
