Lightweight, small space, sturdy. I am hoping the rubber piece that holds up Legion 5 remains strong, it does hold up a lot of weight from the laptop sliding down. Overall this is a quality solid piece.

Unlike traditional tilt platform laptop stands I wanted something less bulky but more importantly something with an open design so that my laptop cooling fan vents are unobstructed. The stand's open frame worked well for that reason. It securely supported any of my three laptops (14", 15" & 16" screen models) as well as my 10-inch tablet. That the Native Union Stand is foldable for travel was frankly a bonus. Since the stand and pouch combined weigh only 3.4oz (95g), I can easily bring it along during travel. The included soft vinyl carrying pouch should keep the stand from scratching or getting scratched and help keep the stand folded during transit. Build is solid aluminum, rather than inexpensive and fragile hollow tubing. The four top side contact point for laptop are rubber padded, as are the four stand-to-table contact points. The padding effectively keeps the laptop in-place while keyboarding. The one feature that would have made it better is some form of height adjustability. The fixed 3-in elevation works fine for most cases but the ability to adjust height (such as more when using my tablet for viewing or less when using my larger 16-inch laptop) would have been better. It's also a tad pricey for what there is but it does better than several stacked books at achieving a stylish minimalist aesthetic. If you want industrial strength for a fixed office set-up, look elsewhere. ... show more

I've been using this across the world for a year now and LOVE it. It's the only laptop stand to make it into my carry on bag without hassle. Once every 50 times through the XRAY they think it's a weapon but it's super rare.
