  • Works BRILLIANTLY with Lenovo Legion Go!
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: White
I didn't really know what to expect with this dock, but let me just tell you - it is brilliant - it works extremely well! I do wish it came with a 100w charger for pass thru (since I am using the one that came with the Legion Go in a different place in the house). That said. I was able to get a nice one from Best Buy for like $30.00. That doesn't take away from the functionality of the dock itself. I have DisplayPort hooked up to my 27" LG monitor, using a keyboard and mouse, ethernet, and bluetooth directly into the Legion for sound. It's a premium dock, and yes a premium price, but it just works right away. Others are saying that it's "top heavy" with the system in the stand, but I don't have that same experience even though the Legion is larger and weighs more. At the end of the day the dock is small, concise works well, and is very well built. Definitely get this if you need a solid dock - just remember, no actual charger is included - you'll either need to use the one that comes with your handheld computer or buy a separate 100w one from a third party :-). Enjoy! ... show more

  • Only buy if you have money to throw away
Style: 8-IN-1 Color: Black (8-in-1)
I splurged on this for my boyfriend because he likes the RGB lights and the multiple ports. It worked well when it came but after a few months without use, he tried to hook it up again and it wouldn't connect to the TV. We tested the power, usb cord, and HDMI cable that we used and they worked fine. It makes me believe the HDMI port is the issue. After some research, it seems to be a common problem. TLDR Save your money. The RGB isn't worth it! ... show more

  • Decent Dock
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: White
I bought this dock to use with my ROG Ally. I like that it's white to match the Ally and it has some good features. As noted the slide-out tray could be a little sturdier but it works. I will say, that the Ally is heavy enough that the dock can tip forward, but in general it stays put. The dock has plenty of ports to do just about everything you need. The RGB is nice to have but since the Ally tends to block your view of the lights, I'd say it's not fully visible. One thing I don't like is the USB-C cable that comes with the unit. The cable is angled in such a way the the flat ribbon cable runs along the top of the Ally, partially blocking the exhaust ports. It's not enough to prevent airflow out of the case, but I think a cable that is rotated 90 degrees, so that it runs directly away from the back of the Ally would be a better choice. Overall it's a good dock for the Ally ... show more

  • Worth The Money
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal (12-in-1)
I bought this docking station for my legion Go and it's absolutely amazing! I've seen mixed reviews of this dock but I guess it's just a game of chance along with any item that you buy but it looks like it didn't have any flaws or anything. I love the RGB lighting that matches the thumbsticks on my Go. The HDMI port used to connect to a monitor or tv works great. I'm my case I connected it to my Samsung tv and it connected instantly. The 100w usb-c cable charges up my Legion Go so quickly that I do t even have to worry about my battery dying and I do t even need to take a break to get some more juice to the battery. The slidable tray is a little flimsy but is still strong enough to hold my Go. They definitely could have made it a little more sturdier but it does what it's supposed to. I would recommend this docking station to any consumer. It does what it's supposed to and the 12 slots make other devices connecting to if easy a useful. ... show more

  • Don’t expect it to last
Style: 8-IN-1 Color: Black (8-in-1)
Product looks great, but is poorly built. I have had it for three months and these summarize my experience: 1. Audio never worked correctly when connecting the dock to a tv 2. The usb-c cord that comes with it died after about 6 weeks. 3. The RGB lights on the dock died and quit working after two months. I recommend getting something else. ... show more

  • VRR not functional - good thing otherwise
Style: 8-IN-1 Color: Crystal
Nicely constructed for a plastic unit, RGB lights are not that loud and can be switched off directly form hardware, base is super wide and stable enough to withstand several heavy braided cables, stand feels flimsy but it is solid enough for a ROG ALLY, included USB-C cable is a tad rigid but it's expected for a 240W rated cable, JSAUX packaging has improved but can still be better. Pretty good for a standard dock, but this is NOT a standard dock. The very reason of existence for the "S" variants (HB0801S in this case) is the VRR function. with everything set and upon connecting the host device, my FreeSync monitor was immediately recognized as FreeSync and HDR capable (which my current DELL dock is unable to grasp) and AMD software enabled the setting automatically, refresh rate was hard capped at 120hz (monitor is 180hz capable, DELL dock can enable it) and that's where good things end. While not gaming (or using anything full screen with GPU acceleration) the thing runs like a dream. The instant a full screen game (running on any DirectX version, Fortnite runs ok on performance mode but VRR cannot be enabled on that mode) is opened, the screen completely blacks out showing ocassional "out of range" messages. calling the windows menu or any windows function will bring back the display as normal. Jsaux support has been very responsive and they provided a couple different firmware versions to try and resolve the issue. FW update #1 changed the blackouts to an exceedingly wobbly image that would again go to full blackout after a few seconds with a constant "out of range" message. FW update #2 reduced the wobbling to a somewhat manageable level with no further "out of range" notices by the screen, performance would "stabilize" to an average of up to 2 seconds of black screen every 10 seconds or so (still unusable). Not good for its intended purpose. it is possible for it to be a decent option with more work on the FW but the provided FWs were almost 8 months apart from each other so polishing the issues is not high on JSAUX list. Returned by JSAUX rep. recommendation ... show more
