Like a few others, I had a problem with the rechargeable batteries in the handsets. They wouldn't charge. And yes, I read the instructions and double-checked to make sure all the contact points were contacting correctly. The batteries simply wouldn't charge. Contacted Anker, whose customer support was excellent. They let me know they were out of replacement rechargeable batteries and it might take a while for the replacements to come in. They offered me a full refund, but aside from the battery problem, the dock is awesome. Looks great. Solid. Great, simple connection to recharge the visor. I opted to wait. It was 4 months (I burned through a couple of pair of disposable batteries in the meantime) and then received a well-packaged kit with replacement contacts for the handsets, two batteries and an additional magnetic charging plug. Replaced everything and now the dock is perfect and everything is recharging as expected. It took a while (they did give me a choice to refund or wait), but Anker customer service eventually made it right. Very happy with the purchase. Reinforces my faith in Anker customer service. ... show more

  • Keep your Quest 2 headset and controllers fully charged all the time
Had no problems setting up and now my headset and controllers are fully charged any time I want to use them. Can also leave them on the dock all the time as it has overcharge protection. Anker just consistently knocks it out of the park.

  • The handheld grips can be tricky
At first I could NOT get the charger to stop blinking for my handhelds. Blinking means "NOT CHARGING". I found that I had to adjust the rotation of the actual battery inside the handheld several times before I got the sweetspot on the contacts so it would charge. Other than that it works great. Its well built and feels of quality. Works great now. I would add that they need to attach the tiny coupler that attaches to the headset to charge, to the charger unit. It is a very small coupler that has to be inserted into the usb port on your headset, inorder to charge. Some people may leave it in all the time, but if you use PC LINK you have to remove it,and it can get lost very easy. Maybe include a very small indented tray to place it in would be nice. Other than that its a keeper. ... show more

  • Worthwhile accessory for your Oculus
I like how it cradles my headset and controllers. The magnetic charging connection is awesome. Comes with rechargeable batteries for the controllers which was really why I bought this. Though I haven't timed it, it does seem to charge a little faster than the stock charger. A worthwhile accessory for my Oculus. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
I was really excited for this! It looks nice and works nicely to charge the headset but unfortunately the right controller won’t work no matter what I do. It acts like it’s charging and it even shows as charged but it just will not actually work. I have to use a regular battery in its place to actually use the system. I will definitely still mess with it to hopefully get it working but at this point it’s been such a pain. Other than that I love that I have a specific place for my quest now and it’s very clean looking. Headset charges just fine and is very convenient. Just wish I didn’t have this controller issue… ... show more

  • Fantastic product...but how is their support for it??
Let me start off by saying I've used Anker for many years. Their product line has always been top notch. When I saw that they offered the dock for the Quest 2, I didn't need to read comments or see reviews...I just bought it. Dock arrives, packaging excellent (as usual) and all looks and "feels" fantastic. I put the dock to use without hesitation. But I come across a little "hiccup" unfortunately. The headset charges fine but the handsets are fiddly to get the green light to come on. All blinking amber lights about 75% of the time. I removed the handsets battery covers many times, repositioned, played with the contacts, and so on and so forth...nothing improves it. It just didn't seem "right" for Anker to have something so finicky on charging, I reached out to their support team via email. Mind you, I have never contacted them for anything in the past, so I thought to myself, this should be interesting. Talk about s stellar experience! I had the same rep (Eliya) from start to finish of this journey and she was absolutely fantastic! It was no hassle and received a replacement unit (after surmising that my unit must have been defective) very quickly. They even sent the new one on "good faith" before even receiving the old unit back. And yes, the old one was sent pre-paid by Anker. Nice! And it doesn't stop there... Eliya reached out to me about 3 weeks later to check in on how all was going with the replacement unit and if it was meeting my expectations. Completely floored by this folks. I'm in sales and realize, these days, that is indeed a RARITY to have Customer Service support like that. Most of it is Customer NO Service. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about and have been there done that. All in all? I really appreciate Eliya's promptness, willingness to help, and follow-up in my experience with Anker support. It is support like that that will keep your customer base loyal for life...including me. :) Oh yes...and how is the dock actually performing? Just as it should...perfect! My whole family just loves it to pieces. It is more expensive than others, yes...but you get what you pay for. It's like comparing an Apple product to a cheap China knockoff. I hope this helps pushing those that are "on the fence" about purchasing the dock. Just do it. You will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • Read the instructions
The biggest problem people seem to have with this is getting the controllers to charge. I had the same issue. It's understandable because most people aren't going to read the instructions on how to insert a battery. But the rechargeables they send you with this need to be oriented precisely inside the controller. I've never encountered a battery that requires specific orientation like this, but here we are. Once you rotate them in the proper direction, they charge fine. The only thing I don't like is that the headset must be powered down completely, otherwise the sleep mode will cause it to charge continuously, which probably isn't a good thing? Other than that, I like having everything organized and always charged. ... show more
