All my 10 year old asked for for his birthday was treasure x. I had NO idea what these were! I took a shot on this one only because it was also minecraft and my boys ALL love mine craft eveything! Lol-but I must admit I had low expectations. However I gotta say,compared to some of the other junk on the market,I thought this was really pretty cool!! My other boys sat and contently watched him the whole time he worked on it! Little bit of a mental challenge-figuring out how to manipulate it to open and then digging thru the slime and foam-which is a good little sensory stim. Exercise then of course assembling the figures! Of course he's 10 so this may not have been as challenging for him as it maybe for younger kids but he did refuse to use the instructions and really did enjoy it! which for 20 bucks,I'd say it was totally worth it!! ... show more

    • 3-D Printed? Wrong prints!
My son was so excited to receive his Minecraft ender dragon caves, and cliffs experience toy. He had a really great time with the exploration part and the glue and toy cave. However, when it came time to building the characters which he was really excited about, they were printed wrong. It seems like it were 3-D printed and especially Steve. His face was printed wrong and his helmet was printed wrong so much so that my son cannot put the toys together. I had a break out my Dremel and a knife and try to cut away the parts that weren’t supposed to be there so that he could make it work in the end it’s not perfect at all, and he really would like a new character but I told him he’ll have to deal with some in for perfections in life. ... show more

Cause you're never going to figure out how to get it open. Thank goodness there's was a video! Although in the video I did note there was no one grabbing stuff and insisting they knew what they were doing when they CLEARLY DID NOT. 7 year old know it all. Anyhow, it was so much fun working through it and really enjoyed the black sli.e pool which hid the dial to open it. Kudos for creativity and a ten for making a toy that remained interesting after we opened it ... show more

Bought as a gift for kiddo who is a huge Minecraft fan. He really liked all the different chambers and assembling the toy. Beware there is a sand pit feature which gets everywhere if you aren't careful! Overall a big hit.
