Top Amazon Reviews

  • Settings are important
Color: 1kg Petg Gray
This is my first review and I've had Amazon for over a decade, but wanted to share some info in case anyone gets discouraged trying to print with this. I've had my Ender 3 for over three years, and this was the second roll /brand of PETG I've used , I went in over confident after having dialed in settings for Sunlu PETG rather easily, this is a different beast but very good once you get settings dialed in. If you haven't don't it yet and have a bowden setup, you should upgrade to a Capricorn tube and get after market bed Springs and adjustment knobs, the higher nozzle temp will melt the stock tube, and the factory Springs and adjustment knobs can /will work loose over a long print (I found out on a nearly complete two and a half day print when a rear knob popped off and shifted the print). I'm running a 0.6mm nozzle, bed temp 90, nozzle 240-245, retraction 35, reduced fans to 60 at the third layer, they're off during the first few layers, and I've been able to pull 70mm/s print speeds with these settings on a glass bed, but still using painters tape for extra adhesion insurance. For the price of this filament I'll definitely get more, I've only used the gray so far, printing with rafts and tree supports, different colors will likely need adjusted settings, some colors retain heat more than others, this filament likes it hot and you don't want the layers cooling too quickly, I hope this helps some people with settings. ... show more

  • Great filament and price.
Color: 1kg Petg White
I'm on my 3rd roll of this brand of filament and I have not had any issues. I print at 230 on the hot end and 80 on the print bed. I print on a piece of glass and use magigoo and as soon as the print bed temperature cools enough the printed object comes right off.

  • Don't follow the recommended printing temp on the spool.
Color: 1kg Petg Transparent
I was suspicious at how low it claimed the recommended printing temp was on the spool (210-230). Very low for PETG so I decided to print a temp tower going from 260-220. Almost made it all they way through until it was just spaghetti. Anyway, print at 260 or regular PETG printing temp for you.

  • No issues
Color: 1kg Petg Pink
Had no issues printing with it, good cheap petg Feels stronger than other prints, did some research and pink plastic is apparently stronger than most other colors, not sure if this is true here but I definitely trust this filament

  • Not the shade I thought it was hoping for....
Color: 1kg Petg Army Green
First off, it's shiny, but it's PETG, not PLA. I was hoping for more of a dark olive drab, but this is more like a fresh Spanish olive. It's actually a pea green. Other than that, it's good PETG; I've had good luck with the NAGA filaments and will buy other colors again. The only other problem I have is that there was a section of the spool that got broken at some point, so it won't work with my Bambu AMS. It was boxed well, but Amazon has been very inconsistent on how they box up what I order lately. I even received a spool in a bag the other day ("Just like a box!" written on it..... nah). I've received a few boxes with the carboard spools dented up as well as this PETG; haven't worried too much about it until now as the spools work fine on a spool holder, but now I'm needing intact spools for the AMS. ... show more

  • I was able to get good quality out of the box
Color: 1kg Petg Cyan
I purchased this for the colors. It was an innexpencive filament and I didnt have high hopes. I pulled this cyan out and threw it on the printer and had to go. I was amazed h ow well the filament did. I didnt bother with a temp tower as I was in a hurry. Ender5 plus, Creality Sonic pad, Microswiss NG direct drive extruder, 0.16 resolution, 245 hot end, 80 hot bed, Print speed 300, infill speed 100, wall speed 75, top/bottom speed 150, no buildplate adhesion there are a couple of minor flaws, but theyre on some overhangs. I can likely tweak some things to make it better. All in all, Id say this was worth the price. ... show more

  • Bought 2 1kilo NAGA PETG 2022/2023
Color: 1kg Petg Gray
Bought 2 Grays from NAGA brand PETG 2 1-kilo rolls 225-238C at 80/70C bed , print Store in the open 90% humidity (not good for petg) for 1-2 months. PRUSA MK3 original, not mk3s upgraded Bought at 15.00 USD a kilo.roll Did fine. Minor stringing. Stringing gets worse as PETG is stored in the open, but that a material property. Minor shine, did fine. Adhesion is fine once you get it dialed in with bed leveling. I have printed a range of 225-238C but mainly at 225/230 level. perimeters were at 100mm/s Came vacuum sealed with desiccant. Standard packaging, any less would not be good. The only issue is there at times some impurities (like black tiny blotch on the print/burned or something) that happens in the print (probably more noticeable when you do prints without any infill usage like me). We are talking like under 5 specks/events/occurrence over the whole roll. For me atleast. IF you are looking for a budget GRAY PETG at 15$ USD as of 2022/23, if you can forgive the possibility if having a MINOR black splot in the print, this isnt bad at all. Cant really complain, 4-5 stars, let be realistic. AT 15$. ONLY notion I hope someone else could add in, is, I haven't WEIGHED the filament so. The possibility of them shorting us is unknown BUT ime was okay is relative amount compared to other filament i have printed with same stl. BUT someone should do the weigh-in anyways cause we should hold them accountable. ... show more
