This item is SO easy to use and put together, no tools necessary. This is my first and only weed eater but it does a great job. Is it the most powerful? No, not compared to the ones I’ve seen lawn care workers use. Does it do the job? Yes! It is light enough though like any weed eater it will fatigue your arms after a bit. The only downside I will say is it is a bit short even at its longest. Being 5’1 I still have to hunch over with it. read all the reviews about not restarting 2nd time but intrigued with weight & length & decided to try it anyway. received it, like others with no trimmers but if it worked i'd get other trimmers. turned it off & on numerous times. worked every time. Pleased with weight & length & battery did whole yard trimming no probs UNTIL due to drought didn't use for 3 weeks or so. It wouldn't start, Amazon ctcd them & they ctcd me. offered to replace whole trimmer, just battery or refund. We both felt it was the battery so sent that & missing trimmers with apologies. Got it, tried it, fired up & has not stopped. I can only vouch for HEYWORK'S services, as i see others offer this trimmer too. They were adamant i be satisfied & stayed in ctc with me. Like i said, I'm so glad i gave them a 2nd chance bc i REALLY like this trimmer & the battery life beats my old black & decker. Planning on ordering a 2nd one as long as it's from HEYWORK & no i don't work for them & this is a real review. Just didn't think they deserved a bad review from me. ... show more

My MZK String Trimmer, 20V Cordless Electric 12'' Weed Eater with Replacement Spools (4 Pack), Battery Powered Lightweight Weed Grass Trimmer/Edger, 8000 RPM 12-in 5.1lb Battery and Charger Included came without the battery, charger and 4 extra spools. Turns out the batter and charger are one unit but I didn't know that. I contacted the seller Zaker Tools and told them what happened. I asked them if they could ship me a battery, charger and spools. They shipped me a whole unit and this one had everything included. I have to say their service couldn't have been any better. I just received the trimmer today and took it out and used it. I'm very pleased with how it worked. I used it for an hour and the battery still had 3 lights lit. The spool is a bit hard to get off but next time I take it off I'm going to spray it with silicon spray to see if that helps. I had a gas trimmer for years and this is a lot quieter and easier to use. ... show more

Well I guess this is one of my worst buys ever. Won’t hold charge long enough to even weed eat the front yard. If you need a weed eater that will hold a charge for you to complete your task then don’t waste money on this one. It’s size weight and portability are great but that’s all I can say for it. ... show more

I've bought 2 and the Is spool cover has broken on both of them. Can't get a replacement part. Now it is worthless.
