This oven is great! The rotating stone as well as the wood fired and gas options are the best features of the oven. These options are exactly what I was looking for. I purchased 3 of these for gifts for our children for homemade pizza all summer long!

    • Ability to easily to rotate the pie is a game changer
I’ve had the pizza oven for a few weeks now and I have only used propane to cook. As I’ve read about this and similar ovens, initially there is some trial and error involved, however, I was able to make pies that met my satisfaction after a few failures (balancing the top and the crust was the challenge; burnt vs. undercooked). Overall, the oven works well, heats fast, and the ability to easily rotate the pie is a important feature as you do need to rotate the pie, or it will cook unevenly. Also keep in mind that the temperature reading on the oven thermometer is less than the stone (measured with infrared thermo-gun). My only complaint (hence 4 stars) is the door is difficult to remove and then can’t be replaced once it gets hot after heating the oven (once cooled, no problem). I contacted the vendor, and they explained that metal expands when heated (Duh!) so there is nothing you can do about it. That said once the oven reaches the desired temperature you of course need to remove the door to insert the pie and then watch it cook so it does not seem to be an issue. Also, there is not a cover made for this oven, but I found that the cover for the “Ooni Karu 12 Multi-Fuel Outdoor Pizza Oven” fit well including over the stack. A word of warning; once your friends find out that you have a pizza oven, they all want to come over for some pies! ... show more

Bought this is a gift for my husband and he has loved using it. Love the versatility for pizza and other food items. Also, love that it can rotate around so that the food item can get fully cooked. Dual fuel is a bonus!

I like this oven , it's compact and I love the propane connection. The price was very good but my pizza are not cooked evenly when they come out.

Bought as a Christmas gift. Had a blast making pizzas outside. The pizzas cook up super fast. We are looking forward to more nights making pizza and inviting friends over. I get the feeling this is becoming a fast trend!

This was fairly easy to set up, but I found some discrepancies between the recipe book and the manual. Also I feel like it doesn't emphasize well enough that the oven should not be preheated for any longer than 15 minutes or the pizza stone gets too hot and burns the bottom of the pizza before the top is really done. My first two attempts were okay but it really takes practice to get the dough the right size for the stone and get the whole thing onto the stone without it sliding over the back edge. It seems pretty tiny--like an Easy Bake Oven for adults. The stone is a fairly standard size though. As mentioned, it just takes practice-- and a pizza peel. The third time my husband had preheated the oven and I arrived with the pizza on the peel, but he had forgotten to put the pizza stone inside. If the dough sits on the peel for too long, it sticks, so I decided to just transfer it to a piece of parchment and bake it in the regular oven inside my house But the flavor of the pizza in this little oven is so superior to my electric oven! And because it cooks so quickly, the dough is moist yet crisp. The product page here says it cooks in 90 seconds, but the instructions that come with it say 45 seconds. In my regular oven at 450 degrees F on a preheated pizza stone, it takes about 20 minutes. We really do like it though and it will be getting plenty of use in the future. I really can't wait to try it with wood pellets! ... show more
