Being an amateur cook, I recently tried the Ninja Pizza oven to make some homemade pizzas and BBQ and the results were fantastic. The product itself is extremely well-built and will last a long time, the heat was consistent and powerful. My pizzas came out crispy and aromatic and the ribs tender and juicy. The product came with some wooden pellets which gave my pizza an authentic woodfire flavor. It was great to use outdoors and really adds to the entertainment aspect of making your own food with friends! This was hands down my best purchase on Amazon this year. I've always wanted a pizza oven but they were all too big or lacking in features. This one does everything a commercial pizza oven does and more. I already hosted two pizza night dinners with my friends and we made a better margeherita pizza than anywhere we've had in LA. The crust was lightly charred but soft and chewy, the mozzarella perfectly caramelized and the tomato sauce broiled to a heavenly crisp, unlocking the ripe aromas of tomato and mozzarella in sublime harmony. And it was super easy. We got some pre-made pizza dough from Erewhon and assembled the rest of the ingredients on it. The instructions for set-up was clear and easy to read. Three things that make this pizza oven great: 1. Exacting temperature control: temperature in cooking is everything, and this oven allows you to control temperature at every stage of the cooking process without sacrificing the flavor of brick ovens. It even has a wood pellet smoking feature to infuse extra aromatic depth. 2. Fast warm-up: I'm a busy, inpatient person on the go, and appreciate that it took no time at all to warm-up and my friends and I were able to enjoy our pizzas one after another quickly. 3. Versatility: We also put in a tray of cinnamon rolls for dessert and they were to die for. Coming out of the oven glistening in cinnamon speckles, the center of the roll was the most magical celebration of heart-warming comfort food. If you've ever dreamed of being a pizza chef and tasting fire-fresh pizza, this delivers every part of that dream. It arrived in a box that was designed to unpack easily. There was basically no set up. We had dough ready and did back-to-back NY style pizza. The crusts turned out well but the “white” pizza had burned shredded Italian blend cheese - maybe need to check a few minutes earlier or change cheese. You could not go directly to Neapolitan style - I turned it off for 15 seconds then restarted it. I added pellets and pressed Woodfire. Preheating was faster as it was already partially there and then cooked the Neapolitan style pizza. It should have a little char - this might be a tad more but the bottom and crust was otherwise perfect. I made another Neorpolitan style pizza for lunch the next day and it turned out well. An infrared thermometer showed a little hot - 496 for NY and 736 for Neo. There really was no clean up with pizzas. It does have the ability to do other types of cooking including roasts - however, I am concerned about cleaning grease and spatter and there are YouTube reviews of problems with this. I wonder if it would self-clean if you just set it at 700 for an hour or two? I could easily see this for heating appetizers and the like since they’d be clean and we’d be outside with it anyway. The smoke really worked for the pizza. I would like an ability to regulate it - it’s all or nothing. I used their paddle - no trouble with sticking and not having to turn the pizza (like with the Ooni) was a real plus. We have a Ninja double (countertop) oven that is great too… this company seems to know what it is doing. ... show more

This oven is amazing! I have a unique outdoor space that has an 18x20 fully recessed deck area. I wanted to use electric as I only have a gas grill near the edge of the deck. I’ve had this for well over a year and wow! I use it frequently. Crispy crust on homemade pizza? CHECK. Amazing cook and even a small smoke ring on ribs? CHECK. Amazing for cooking a perfectly made frozen pizza? CHECK. I love this oven. Ok, ok…. when you are hungry, it takes a ridiculously long amount of time to get hot but once you eat what it cooks, you realize that good food takes a minute :-). ... show more
