After researching multiple full-motion TV mounts, I decided to purchase the Mounting Dream TV wall mount for my 55” Samsung TV. I am very pleased with my purchase. It’s a solid mount at an exceptional value. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The template that is provided makes installation much more efficient as it allows you to pre-drill your holes per the stud layout in the wall. The bracket extends and pivots with ease to your desired location of view. It’s a very sturdy mount and handles my 55” TV with no issues at all. Due to the stud location in the wall, I did mount a board to the wall and then attached the mount to the board to ensure my TV was centered in the wall and it worked perfectly. They do offer the option to order extensions to meet your stud's spacing, however I found the board to be just as effective. It’s just a preference, but it can still be mounted securely utilizing alternative methods. This is a well-made quality mount that I highly recommend. ... show more

Bought for a 55" TCL TV from Costco. As this was going on a wall, over my desk with an additional ledge in the way, I needed an articulating (moveable) mount that I could first mount to the wall and then extend out far enough for me to then hang the TV on it, after which I could push back flush to the wall. This worked perfectly. Being able to pull the TV out also allows you to connect wires easily. My wall has 16" on center studs and the wall mount plate fit that perfectly. It comes with a light cardboard wall template that allows you to line up and mark holes where needed. It then has 4 lag bolts to mount the wall plate with. If in wood studs, drill first, then used the bolts. If in concrete, drill first and it comes with plastic wall anchors to use, then bolts. Again, mine was in studs. There is also a small level included to ensure the template/mount is level. Two separate TV brackets mount to the back of your TV (must meet certain VESA standards and less than 99lbs) and it comes with a 6 different screws and 4 types of spacers to fit a variety of TV's. Once the TV brackets are in place, simply hang the TV by placing the brackets on the mount. There are set screws that then should be tightened to prevent the TV from being somehow lifted off. There are also "tilting bolts" used to set the angle of tilt you want. An 'allen' key is included to use on these bolts. This is an excellent value ... show more

This would get 5 stars if the back plate was about 18" wide instead of about 13". Why you might ask...Well, install instructions tell you to mount the four corners on wooden studs when mounting to dry wall. The problem is, in most residential constructions studs are 16" apart. This mean, if you want to stud mount you have to get creative. Fortunately the back plate has two holes dead center which I used to stud mount and then I used heavy duty mollies to secure the corners. This is not recommended or "suggested" in the mounting instructions and hardware to do this is not supplied. While I am not an engineer, I believe this is wholly adequate and unless someone hangs from the TV, it is not going to get ripped off the wall. That said, if you are not "handy" with these kind of things you might find the hanging instructions to be inadequate. The install hardware does allow for fine tune leveling but if you hung the mount level in the first place, you won't need to use this. That said, the mount works great. It is easy to articulate, forward, back as well as about 30 degrees left or right. There is also the ability to tilt the screen a few degrees forward. This can really help with minimizing reflection on the screen. Mounting issues aside, this is a great mount for the money...you should have no issues. PS - I am going to make the wires disappear after I mount the cabinet below the TV. ... show more

This mount came with everything I needed to mount my 60" semi-heavy TV. Your hardest job will be hitting the studs. As mentioned in a few reviews, the hooks on the part that attach to the TV are just wide enough to get onto the mount. Get someone to help and make sure both are seated fully before letting go. Once it's tightened on with the screw it's good to go! It fits, it'd just be possibly ideal if there was an inch or so more leeway to avoid that 'ok hopefully it's on right' moment as you slowly let it take the weight. It came with way more hardware than I personally needed for my specific TV, but I'm sure it's there for a reason! It's easily manoeuvrable and now I can tilt my TV to aim right at my workspace. Feels so cozy and DEFINITELY worth a few extra bucks vs one that can't swivel! The swivel system I'm sure means it's a little further from the wall. From the wall to the back of the TV is about 3", so if your TV is mounted up high or never needs adjusting, a simpler one should have a lower profile. ... show more

This comes with everything you need. The included level is a nice touch. I easily mounted this to the wall, and it works great! The leveling screws on the back help the minor adjustment you’ll need to make, once the TV is mounted and on the actual mount.
