We are living in an apartment for a period between the old home and the new home and I didn't want to drill into the walls of the apt to mount an accordian bracket. I ordered this and it sits on a credenza in the living room. It is heavy, which is great. We put a 55" LCD TV on it. Easy installation, they include screws for every make of TV. This pedestal mount is perfect for spaces where you can't or don't want to use the TV mounting feet that may be spaced too far apart to fit on a console or cabinet. The typical plastic support feet are a cost saving move for TV manufacturers --they provide the necessary support but require wide spacing. I used this pedestal on a 42" TV a couple years ago and it has been perfect. Recently, I replaced a 55" TV in our bedroom and bought this same pedestal mount again since it's a great design. The support brackets that mount to the TV have a wide variety of adjustments and come supplied with a variety of hardware and spacers to most installations. Pay attention to the size and length of the screws, using the spacers to get the right length, if needed. The glass pedestal is very thick but BE SURE to use the black plastic washers between the metal washer and glass before tightening the two screws against the glass surface and DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. I have read other reviews where people said they damaged or broke the glass and I suspect they overtightened the screws against the glass or left out the washers --this is a certain way to impart stress to the glass that will lead to breakage. Overall, you can't go wrong with this pedestal if you take your time to assemble it correctly. It is a very high quality kit that will accommodate a wide variety of TV sizes, weights, and mounting heights. Great product! ... show more

I needed a tabletop tv stand that would hold a 55” tv and decided to give this one a try. The instructions could’ve been better written/diagrammed, but it’s still fairly easy to figure it out. It came well packaged, very neat and well-labeled. A large variety of mounting screws were included as well as cord organizing rings for the back of the stand. I only needed the lowest height, but it had a decent range for increasing the height. I was worried this wouldn’t be sturdy enough to hold that big of a tv, but it’s worked great, looks nice, and was way cheaper than anything I’ve seen in stores. Highly recommend!👍🏽 ... show more

I’m pretty fair at putting things together so I wouldn’t call this “easy” to put together but isn’t too bad. I purchased it to use with our Amazon 42” Fire T.V. The stand that came with it is to flimsy IMHO. This is very heavy duty and quality built. For the reasonable price, it’s a great choice.

Ordered this TV stand for a 55’ inch TV and seems to be holding well. My dad assembled it pretty easily and it stands at a good height. I haven’t tested the adjustability myself, but I wouldn’t imagine it to be too hard. The base is glass and not white if you’re looking for that all white setup, but it’s large enough to set your remote or some cute figures in my case. ... show more

Why didn’t I do this earlier? The pedestal works great, was easy to put together and now the tv is able to be placed right where I want it. I always hated the little legs that came with the tv, this is perfect and seems really sturdy to hold our 55” tv.
