I got this to raise up my mother's TV from a lower TV stand. This thing works great. Not only does it raise the viewing level for a 50" pretty high, the weight of the bottom piece makes it very sturdy as well. Some plusses: The height for a 50" TV when mounted puts the top at around 5.5'. The weight of the bottom piece and the materials for the stand itself keep it from leaning forward. The brackets for mounting the television itself were easy to assemble and mount to the TV. Mounting the TV itself onto the stand can be awkward depending on the weight. ... show more

I like the construction of this product. I love the sturdy design and the swivel for different angle options. I don't like two screws don't actually screw into the frame, but for some reason it's designed this way, and seems to work. Also I wish it would sit more flash against the wall. Best bang for your buck and sturdy. Absolutely no problems but note: CHECK YOUR TV INFORMATION FOR BOLT SIZES. This comes with a lot of standard tv size bolds n installations but does not have the common one for Amazon tvs, taking that into consideration its a little daunting to know if you dont pre buy the bolts ur essentially waiting another day for the parts... I mean I did a stupid and used some spacers and made it work which is likely not the best solution since I ordered the parts anyway but its been a few months and the tv works just fine. No shaking or moving or problems carrying the tv. Would def buy again. ... show more
