The AT-SH40-WF SMART HEATER comes with a quick Guide set up with OCR codes on it. Has instructions to install the mobile app and connect to either Alexa or Google. Our smart home here is wired for Alexa. It took less than five minutes to install download and set up my first configuration. within Alexa, you have full functionality to set child lock, set a timer, countdown reminder, shake, mute or silence, setting to different modes and temperature control. I like this unit because it has not only a child safety but a tip over if you have pets running around. If you’re new to smart devices, this is a great place to start. It has what they call scenes and it’s a place where you can go and set up certain conditions. It’s the basic what “IF” principal when a condition is met be at a schedulestart time, Or a weather condition (Temperature, humidity, weather, Sunset, sunrise, and even wind speed ). whether There is a change to the device itself. When met the “THEN” Condition will take the actions or task you would like to do. Control of signal Device, Select another smart scene, Send a notification and or delay in action. My wife gets to work from home and she gets up really early in the morning and her office is always cold. So the first scene I set up was for her. It was a simple one that at 6:00 AM to start the unit then to set the unit to 75 then to set the temperature to high. There is also a pre-condition setting that you could set that if the outside temperature is below 60° to turn on the unit.
