  • Really worked!
Style: 3/4" 10T #40/41 and 12T #35 Chain
The media could not be loaded. Amazing, really works! Parts are exactly the same (quality in materials) as those $200 ones from mini bike shops. Was going 31 mph max, after this installed, now reached 42 mph max! I would definitely recommend it!!!

  • Coleman BT200X
Style: 3/4" 10T #40/41 and 12T #35 Chain
Update: The low end torque is much stronger than stock. I bucked myself off the bike today due to sitting too far back on the seat. 10 out 10, would install again! Requires a bit of modifying to get this to work. I used 1" square tube to lift the engine to make room. I had to order a 5/8" to 3/4" crankshaft adapter and cut it to fit. I had to cut down some of the ribs on the back plate so it would sit flush to the motor. I also needed a new bolt for the crankshaft pully because the old one is too short and the new one is for a 3/4" crankshaft (too fat). I did a lot of head scratching to get this to work, nothing seemed to quite fit, but I think I could knock this out in half the time now that I know what is needed to make this work. Overall, this thing turn my Coleman BT200X into a beast. Everything about it is better. Low end power is probably double and has no problem hauling my fat ass up my steep hill. The stock clutch burned out trying to do that lol. I don't have much flat here, but I expect the speed is 30-31mph. On a slight uphill slope my GPS tells me 28mph and on the way back down it is 33mph, so flat top speed should be about 30.5mph. Totally worth the price and effort. ... show more

  • Install can be a pain, you will need more stuff to get it on
Style: 3/4" 10T #40/41 and 12T #35 Chain
So I write this having never actually finished the install. This is going on a Harbor Freight Predator 212. Had I put it on the stock Coleman motor, the included fasteners probably would have been fine. To start, the Predator needs, but does not include, hard to find 5/16 bolts that have a 24 pitch (fine) thread. Most hardware stores don't have them, so you'll need to make a few stops. You'll need four 1" bolts. On a recently-purchased Predator, there is a black box that interferes with the rear of the variable pulley. It appears to be some type of gas tank vent recirculation system. It must be unbolted and relocated. Thankfully the hoses are long and it fits under the seat without much fuss. You have to do this before you can bolt up the mounting plate. Additionally, the stock chain is not long enough, so you'll need to get a link splitter and use the two chains to make one longer chain. I didn't have a link splitter so I ground off a pin and whacked it through with a punch. Not elegant, but it works. Should be two inches. This is where I leave off as I don't have that fancy fine thread bolt. I hope one day to finish this and end the hardware store running. ... show more

  • Not machined to spec
Style: 3/4" 10T #40/41 and 12T #35 Chain
There must be zero QC checks on these before they leave the factory. The back of the driver clutch won't go on the shaft because where the keyway is built in it's not machined to spec. In the pictures you can clearly see a step where they never finished machining it. I have no way to bore that out with the key built into it. Is there a batch where this wasn't an issue? I don't understand how people are installing these on a standard Honda/clone 3/4-in shaft. My wife wants to take the toddlers around in the go-kart some more before winter, but this is still holding me up for over a month now. *This is the replacement they sent me because the first one was exactly the same unchecked nonsense. ... show more
