Great price for what you get. Yukon diff is tough and reliable, Richmond gears are good quality and run quiet (when installed correctly) and the bearing kit contains quality components. I’d buy again in a heartbeat. For the do-it-yourself mechanic.     • 99-06 truck guys beware!
First off, I would like to say this is a nice kit, however if your a 99-06 gm guy the bearing kit is going to be incorrect. The correct bearing kit is a ra-321-C or you can get away with just changing the carrier bearings to the bigger OD set36 (3.062 OD) the kit comes with a 2.891OD. Been chasing this problem for my mechanic for the last couple of days, just want to make sure that whomever else purchases this kit gets the correct information. ... show more

Good for the money but the bearing to came with the kit was wrong so I had to take them to the parts store and get new ones and nobody told you in the instructions that you have to use dummy bearings to set your pinion dip and the numbers on the opinion you cannot read them So I found some on YouTube and just went with those numbers and I got it within a 1000s ... show more

    • Bearing do not fit the indicated application
Tje bearings did not fit and the gear set has a noticeable whine above 30mph. Update to my original review, since then the noise had gotten quiter. Fast forward to last week, vehicle developed a popping noise in the differential, I removed the cover and found a broken tooth in the housing. Contacted yukon via Amazon, Erin had tech dept contact via phone. Described the issue at hand and informed me that it would be covered under warranty. Super super nice people to deal with ... show more

I ordered the wrong possi spline I paid to have it shipped back and was charged again for having the right one shipped back after I had already paid over $500 for the first one I mistakenly ordered it should have been some sort of return label but nope it wasn't but the spline works great

I bought this cause they said it would fit my 04 chevy avalanche z71 but the only thing I could use out of the whole kit was the semi posi unit the bearing and castors were too small as well as the yoke and it's bearings I suggest if you had to do your rear-end to just buy the Yukon semi posi by itself and buy all the bearing and everything else from Napa they were the only parts store that found all the bearing and castor and yoke what a headache the kit will cause u ... show more

    • good posi gears ok install kit not so good
the Yukon Posi is a nice unit you will have to heat the pin retaining bolt to remove Loctite from factory, the pinion crush sleeve eliminator kit didn't fit my 8.5 the main spacer was to long wasted money use crush sleeve . move on to the carrier the bearings and shims in the install kit didn't FIT to big go to Yukon's website to find correct bearing numbers . filling the rear end the pinion leaked surprise wrong seal Rock auto to the rescue they say that seal doesn't fit the 8.5 got the correct seal leak fixed . in the end the Posi and gears are fine the install kit was a JOKE AGRAVATING AT BEST. ... show more
