  • You can mold anything!!! Anything...
Size: Pint Unit
This stuff is freaking awesome. Made two molds with it and absolutely love them. It has a fair amount of rigidity when cured so based off the form you mold might price troubling. It's extremely easy to use, can add color to it if you want some spice in your molds, and cures fast. Measurements are by weight for this (100:10) so the math is easy. • worked perfectly against UV cured 3-D resin parts.
Size: Pint Unit
I used this product to replace a platinum catalyst silicone. I was making resin molds using 3-D UV cured resin objects, and found the platinum catalyst silicones would not cure when in contact with the UV cured resins, but only where contact was made. It did not matter how long I cured in sunlight, nor in my UV cure box, and the problem volatiles even permeated through saran wrap where the wrap was stretched. This tin cure silicone rubber worked perfectly every time, and cured bubble free.. Very happy with the product. John ... show more

  • arrived damaged
Size: Pint Unit
Product easy to use and worked well. It arrived in original packaging but for some reason the large container was not sealed. About 2 or 3 oz of material had spilled out into the box and made a horrible sticky mess.

  • Smooth-on makes quality products
Size: Pint Unit
Easy 10:1 ratio. Easy to mix. No smell. Nice white. Easy to pour. Sets up nicely in a few hours with no visible bubbles. Seems to be high strength and stretchy as described. The smooth-on site has a "compare products" matrix that was helpful in choosing the best product.

  • Awesome stuff!
Size: Pint Unit
Started resin casting a few months ago, this is absolutely perfect for making you own castings. Just follow the easy instructions and let it do its thing. Sets in about 6ish hours and I have made about 10 molds. Used them multiple times, they keep their detail.

Size: Pint Unit
The product arrived on time, in excellent condition and I am extremely satisfied with it. My experience with the vendor has been 100% positive. This silicone is much more pliable than a previous purchase, and although still not as "stretchy" as what I'm looking for, it is light years better. Highly recommended. ... show more

Size: Pint Unit
This product works ok, but there will still be alot of bubbles in the cured silicone if you don't use a vacuum and/or pressure the mold on a pot. The surface quality i good, but the bubbles just under the surface will prevent you from pressure casting in molds that werent cured under pressure themselves. The product also works great for prototype silicone rubber molding. I use a pressure pot to make silicone parts. ... show more

Great product, would recommend watching some of the online tutorials before use. This one is not for beginners, and requires a gram scale. Smooth-on has excellent customer service!
