The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using UV resin and I love it! I followed the directions to a t and made this experiment pendant. I first did a small layer of resin and added gold leaf. Then I dried it for 2 minutes. Then I did another layer with glitter. Dried for 2 minutes and did one more layer of glitter and gold leaf just playing around. Dried perfect each time and I remembered to flip it over and dry that back too. It turned out beautiful and fully cured. There weren't many bubbles at all! It says to pour very close to the mold and I did that each time. I didn't need to warm the bottle in hot water. It's so easy! The resin does have a bit of an odor so I cracked a window open a tiny bit. This was a perfect starter kit and there is a lot of resin! The lamp works great! You can't charge it and have to plug it in to your own brick. The mat is great and so are the cups and stir sticks. It wasn't messy at all. I never got any on my fingers. I highly recommend this! I see people angry about the lamp being small but it works great so who cares. I actually like it small because I don't have much room on my desk. I'm excited to play around some more and I'll post more pictures later. It's so fun and easy and makes beautiful jewelry. I'll never use epoxy resin for jewelry again! This is a good starter kit. The resin is excellent because it flows evenly and cures consistently. I re-order it often. The light was small, so I bought the large Let's Resin UV light. It's fabulous! If you are new to UV resin, consider watching videos on the Let's Resin website. Good videos and great ideas! ... show more

My first foray into resin work so don't have much to compare it too. Worked great and easy to use. Fixed my broken Google pixel watch and made an awesome base for my Shelaxi Helbane "miniature" for Warhammer 40k.

    • Great kit for beginners
This kit was easy to learn how to use and did the job well. I was up and running within minutes of receiving it. My project cured quickly and completely. The UV light is small so you can’t do large projects with it, but, if you’re just looking to make jewelry, it would be more than enough. I wouldn’t recommend it for an advanced jewelry maker. Because it is UV light cured, the fumes are much less than you would have with an epoxy resin. I still would use it in a ventilated area, though. ... show more

Great product. Used it to make a ring for my Tesla, now I can open the Tesla with just the ring. The UV curing light was great and heartland. The clear resin within a minute. Did not end up sticky like other products and clear like glass. Very happy with this product and we’ll get it again.

I started dabbling in resin art and decided to start with this little kit. The resin is nice and clear and pretty easy to use. It can be a bit sticky if you get it on you - but that should probably be avoided. I don’t notice any strong odors or issues with off gassing but that could be me. This starter set is awesome! I've never used resin before and this exceeded my expectations for the price. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

    • Probably good for nails, but not for crafts
This product works as it should, but is noticeably very yellow unless used in very thin layers. (and yes, it reeks to high heaven.) The included UV light is nearly useless- even for nails. Not even remotely strong enough to cure small amounts without constant resetting. (The light turns off after a minute and a half to two minutes. How an integrated electronic timer can vary its timing so wildly boggles my mind...) I ended up using UVA rays from the literal source (the sun) to get my "water splash" pieces solid cured in a matter of seconds. Fiddling with the included light would have taken hours or days... But, they are clearly (not really a pun, but entirely intended) not water clear. They look like yellowish liquid waste... This might work fine for nail art or simple resin coating where color clarity isn't an issue, but for crafting- (especially miniature water effects- the sole reason for my purchase,) this isn't the best option. However, the price is totally friendly for experimentation with clear resin. ... show more
