This is one of the best investments I've made to my resin pouring hobby. I live in the pacific northwest and it gets too chilly to cure resin in the garage (my shop) during the winter. I brought my crafting supplies in the house this year because I wanted to make christmas ornaments. It took 24 hours for things to be solid enough to demold where I thought they would not deform and 48 until I felt comfortable hanging them. And then I got this mat. I have made everything in the pictures in the last week. Only once have I had a craft that needed 6 hours. everything else cured hard enough to be demolded in 4 hours. I have the one with the timer so I set it for four hours, and go about my business. Once everything cools to the touch, I can demold. it's brilliant. I have no warping or deforming. no problem with heating. the timer works beautifully. I love that this speeds up my experiments so I know what I need to do better or try again. it's wonderful ... show more

When first purchased the sturdiness and performance of the heat mat was amazing. The size was just right for my desk. Easy to clean up. Helps get rid of most all bubbles. But after a few months it started to warp in the middle of the heat mat. Now I can only use small parts of the mat. For the value and price of the product, I would have expected it to last longer. I bought this machine in July of this year. It is now the end of November and when I do use the machine, it likes to work half the time OR cure only half of the items vs all of them in the same cure setting. Nothing different about the pours and a lot of waisted resin now. It's slowly just not wanting to cure ut. It's still Very "Gooey" when the machine turns off when its supposed to be rock hard. Not happy with the fact that I haven't even gotten a full 6 months out of this before it stopped fully working right! ... show more

Not only do I cure resin on this mat I use the heat to stir to get bubbles out of both resin and silicone rubber when stirring. If it’s cold 🥶 putting the silicone rubber on the heat mat helps it to cure also. I love this mat. I’ll also give a six month update for everyone.
