I recently had partial knee replacement surgery and use this to maintain compression around the knee. It helps keep swelling down. These are the perfect size, length and compression level. I like the way these sleeves (braces) fit, and they feel good and stay in place pretty well during use. I somehow expected that they would be thicker (more rigid) to provide the needed support. After sometimes experiencing knee discomfort hiking or playing without the braces, I have used them while hiking and playing pickleball and the knees have been pain-free. I don't know whether that is a testament to the braces' effectiveness, or I just didn't have knee pain that time. Regardless, they are comfortable, may be helping my knees, and keep my knees a bit warming as the weather gets cooler, so probably beneficial, regardless. ... show more
