    • Object is NOT waterproof as its description suggests.
I was planning on giving this to my partner for her birthday so that she'd have a safe place to keep her deceased dad's possessions without having to worry about a house fire or flood ruining them. I went by the description of this object suggesting that its "Water Proof" and "Fire Proof" into account when buying this product. This safe arrives at my house and I am setting it up with the batteries on the inside and notice that there is a narrow gap between the door and the sides of the safe as I'm opening and closing the safe door after battery installation. It doesn't exactly look water proof to me, and so I decide to test this theory by taking the safe to my sink and pouring faucet water over it to see if it stays out. Lo and behold, none of the water is even making it to the edge of the safe because ALL of it is going through the hinge between the door and the safe walls. I get that this is a forty dollar safe and I shouldn't have gotten my hopes too high, but using plain inaccurate wording in this object's description wastes people's time, hence the one star. ... show more

Very misleading, well flase advertising that it is waterproof and fireproof. There are 4 holes for mounting and ZERO insulation for fireproofing. I was lied to with the false claims.

i Just received my safe and it is a great size to put your all my little personal belongings. also comes with mounting screws so you can secure your safe into the wall or floor that is a great addition. im glad that it come with two sets of keys because i always tend to misplace my keys.

This small safe is great for jewelry and small things to put inside. It comes with master keys and batteries for the input of the code as well as instruction manual. Set up was fast and easy!! The safe includes bolts for mounting, and the instructions are direct and easy to understand (but when programming a code, input your code then push the "c" or "e" TWICE. This should confirm that the code has properly changed from the initial code. The door is thick and dense. My favorite thing about this safe is the 2 spare keys.. i like having the abilty to enter when needed, but batteries run out the 2 master keys included** offers a backup. Your able to enter regardless if the batteries are malfunctioning or you may have forgotten the code. I think this will be great to mount in a hidden place (in a closet, wall, rafters etc). ... show more

It is very small and compact. Its is easy to install and operate. Can be mounted in the wall or anything with with drill. I just got it to store some of the valuable items I have like very old vintage bills and coins so that I can keep it safe. Works pretty good for what I wanted to use for.

Safe is small and very light can be taken easily but it comes with bolts to be attached to surface. Works with batteries and very easy to set up. Enjoy my purchase.
