  • Nice for starters
Color: Brown Pink
I got it because I never did deep powder so I wanted something affordable in case I could not manage to myself so I will not lost money. It was pretty easy to do ( I follow some instructions from Tiktok) and turn out great. They be very flat and smooth surfaces. I didn’t use their coat, I use gel instead and works out great… just have to see how long it will last but so far I love it (: ... show more

  • I LOVE This Kit!!
Color: Zinc Brown
The orange is my first time. The blue my second. Def learned from my first try! I’ve been going to the salon for nails for over 20 years. The prices which continue to rise and the time out of my busy schedule, has been taken its toll. Not to mention I have a neurodivergent child, I don’t like to be away from long. I bought this kit in hopes of divorcing my nail tech, on good terms of course! First, the kit has EVERYTHING you need. I did read a lot of reviews before my first application and my nails came ok. Lasted over two weeks. I watched a video and decided the second time around I would put a piece of paper under my hand and catch the powder after pouring it over my nail instead of dipping. For some reason dipping was NOT for me. No matter what I couldn’t get a smooth dip, I think I’m heavy handed. I also purchased a pedicure brush to brush ALL the access powder off the nail. It makes for a more clean finish. I made sure to file my nails smooth really well using a very fine file. Like the file that comes on the four sided filing block, if that makes sense? I filed AFTER my thin 3 coats and activator. If you file before or use a course file it will mess up the mail rather than smooth it out. It’s also important to push back your cuticle before AND slowly get closer to the cuticle as you reach the last layer of powder. I used a course file to clean up around the nail and cuticle. To remove them I tried the cotton ball and acetone with foil. That did not work for me. Instead I bought those cotton make up pads, soaked my nails and 100% acetone for about 15 minutes. Then I soaked the makeup pad in the acetone and slowly rubbed it right off my nails until my nails were clean. I had to put my hands back in a few times. But it caused no damage to my nails. The only draw back is, I’ve found, the longer my nails are the easier they crack. So I cut them down and rounded them the second time around. When I did get a crack I was able to fix it. I filled the mail down to where it wasn’t shiny anymore, paying special attention to the crack. Applied more powder to that area, let it dry, brush, activate, file a little. Then apply another layer of powder over the entire nail, brush, activate, fine file to smooth it out, activate and top coat! Viola! I’m proud to say I’m now free from the hassle of salons. I’ve even purchased nail polishes for my toes to match from random places as I see them. Just make sure you block out enough time because it is time consuming. However, I’m happy to do it myself for the price, in the comfort of my own home, and with my son sitting next to me! ... show more

  • I like this kit so far
Color: Zine Purple
I am new to the dip powder world but so far I'm impressed with this kit. The selection of dip powders is awesome. I do think this kit is great for beginners. Every issue i had so far with this kit was user error. The liquids are thinner, which i liked. The dry time i would say was in between fast and medium dry time so it did give me time to put the powders where I wanted them. I can't comment on how long these will last because I'm so new to dip powder and I know if they didn't last long it would be due to something I've done verses the product itself. Regardless the whole kit itself is well worth the money and is way cheaper than going to the salon. To be honest even with my minor mess ups, it's still just as good as coming out of the salon. I've paid way more for not so great results at the salon. The smell of the liquids is a little strong but that's just annoying, not really a problem for me ... show more

  • Not the best experience
Color: Brown Pink
The biggest downfall for me with this product is the fact that the base coat and top coat smell exactly like super glue and both burn my eyes when having the bottle open. Makes me feel a little skeptical about putting it on my nails if I can’t even have my eyes open around it. I’ve never done dip before. I usually do my nails with hard gel but was lookin for something that would be easier and faster. I definitely felt like this took the same amount of time for me to do hard gel. The powder was applying kind of clumpy on some nails which is fine if I can file it down. It seemed like the powder wasn’t fully dried or something even though I followed the directions because it would just scrape off chunks when I would try to file it. Also I was disappointed with the colors. I used the second darkest color in the nude set and it is LIGHT. Very light pink, much lighter than the photos. I haven’t tried the other colors yet but I probably never will because I don’t think I’m going to keep this product. I usually like this brand’s gel polish so I was hoping this would be good. I see other people had good experiences and their nails came out pretty. Just wasn’t for me apparently. ... show more

  • PAINFUL!!!!
Color: Zinc Brown
I will NOT be purchasing a dip kit from this brand again. I have ordered different brands before but I have never experienced the horrible PAIN before after applying the top coat on top of the activator coat. Apparently it causes a chemical reaction and I literally saw my nails SMOKING and it was burning so bad - felt like someone had a match holding it to my nails. I’ve never felt that kind of burning pain ever - I’m afraid to ever use this kit again. I’ve done dip nails so many times before and this has never ever happened. I’m so glad I tried it first on myself before I applied it on an innocent child. Do not buy!!!!! 😡😡😡 ... show more
