Edit: The seller contacted me and has exchanged the unit. Exceptional customer service. We were outside of Amazon's return/exchange window but the seller is so committed to customer satisfaction that they went above and beyond to assure our happiness. And the new unit is working wonderfully! Original review: When we first got this strap and extended battery it was great but it began to last less and less time between charges. Now, a week outside of the return/exchange window, it will hardly charge. It's been plugged in for over 5 hours and it's only at 22%, and it was already at 17% when it was plugged in, so in 5 + hours it's charged 5%. Just placed an order for another one (a different brand) in hopes it will last longer than 3 months. Other than the not charging issue it was great. My kid was able to use it and adjust it herself and since it is adjustable she was able to play without feeling like it was falling off of her head. ... show more

This battery pack + head strap is amazing! The strap is insanely comfortable and light weight that sometimes you forget it’s there. The battery power is also insanely high quality and simple to use. All you have to do is turn it on with the button located on top. And it lasted over 3 hours with me WITHOUT even losing 1%!!! It also is fit for anyone’s head because of the rotating head strap extension that comes with it.     • Nice headstrap, wonky charging...
So far, this headstrap has been great. It makes the Oculus 2 way more comfortable, and usually gives us quite a bit more battery life. However, the charging is inconsistent and unreliable. We have been leaving the battery pack plugged into the headset, and plug the charger into the battery pack. Sometimes, we go to play, and the headset is dead but the battery is charged. Sometimes the battery is dead, but the headset is charged. And once everything seems to be fully charged, the charging lights on the side of the headset will start changing color, like it's charging from the battery pack, then fully charged, then in use, then back to charging. So now, we have started to charge the headset and battery pack separately, and have to make sure that the charger gets unplugged once the unit is full. Definitely not a deal-breaker if it works this way, but certainly an annoying inconvenience. ... show more

Upgraded my mq2 with this. So much more comfortable and longer lasting . I have 2 level fusion in my neck so comfort is important, the weight of just the mask would make me sore after only 20 -30 mins or so of play, by then it would be about time to charge the headset anyway, with this strap upgrade it fits better and the weight is now evened out and I don't feel as much pressure on the neck, and with the battery pack. I played till I was wore out and handed it right to my wife to play for a while.. keep this in mind. It does not charge the headset but will keep the charge alot longer so when your done charge both the headset and the backup battery and keep the backup battery unplugged while not using and you'll have no issues.. definitely happy with this product.. ... show more

This is more comfortable than the stick head strap Easy to adjust and nice functional design Doesn’t really give that much charging power just kinda prolongs the life a extra 20mins But fits well and seems durable Would recommend
