I am a CNA so I wash my hands a lot and due to that my nails are soft and brittle. When I do my nails with the dip powder, they do not break or chip at all. It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it, I would look for some tips and tricks on TikTok or YouTube to get a nice mid application. They’re pretty easy to takeoff and they don’t leave my nails horribly damaged. Now, with that being said, I also prep my nails very well and are very careful on them using a very good cuticle oil and a ridge filler. If you have soft brittle nails and are looking for something to help them grow, I definitely suggest this product along with nail tech products. Bought this so I could test the waters and start doing my nails at home. It’s great for just getting started. If anyone is thinking about buying a kit but you’re on the fence do it my first overlay set wasn’t great but I improved by the second set and get better each time. I did three overlay sets with this kit and decided to buy a bigger set that had more colors this is my progress with my fourth overlay with the new kit I got from this same brand! Clearly I can still improve but it’s way better than my first try. Highly recommend having a cuticle pusher on hand it’s great for pushing your cuticles obviously but super helpful for cleaning your edges up and also will be helpful at removing dip when soaking in acetone. ... show more

The AZUREBEAUTY Dip Powder Nail Kit Starter has a lot of great features! I love that it includes multiple colors, and the soft brush makes it easy to lift off excess powder without a mess. However, the containers are very small, and with the tiny dip tray provided, things get messy pretty quickly. It would be fantastic if there were a separate, larger container to pour the powder into for easier application. While I enjoyed the kit, the quality isn’t quite salon-level, as the dip started to come off my nails within a week—though that could be due to my own application. pretty easy to do, dries quick. I will say it definitely smells Like super glue and the edge of my skin to the side of the nail got stuck in some places. Will see how difficult it is to take off, that’s a concern of mine. But all in all very happy with it. This is 2 layers of the dark color and one of the iridescent color (not sure which) ... show more

the first step is to apply "bond"...I don't know what the bond is! the second step is to apply the "base", that I have! then apply "activator" followed by the top coat. the finished product is very rough... It would seem that somewhere there should be a step that would smooth the surface

I paid $60 plus tip to get dip nails done, and they were fine... looked funky up close. Honestly this is great. I only put on two coats, but the color is great. The instructions are a little strange, it says to apply bond... then apply base. This didn't come with bond - but i just do base and follow instructions from there. Would order more colors Darker colors are a little unforgiving.... Also not sure if the rest of you do, but I pick at my nails. This polish usually lasts about a week... but it's cheap and easy enough to do over. I'm still not sure what the 'base' is, but it smells like super glue - not sure how long this even should stay on. ... show more
