Mini Steppers for Exercise at Home, Stair Stepper Machine with Resistance Bands This is a heavy little stepper. It came with oil for the mechanisms, stretch bands and an instruction booklet. You can pick your height set-up by screwing in or out the adjustment knob on the front. If you have really large feet they may not completely fit onto the steps but many people don't step with flat feet anyway. The step has grips but is hard plastic so if you find yourself slipping on it you can easily attach anti slip tape. The machine itself makes no noise but when the step connects with the lower bar it does make a noise. Even though there is a rubber stopper this sound might travel down to the floor below you, so if you plan to use this on an upper floor be aware it might annoy your downstairs neighbors unless you put down a carpet underneath. The included bands or bands of your choice connect to the top via a clamp and enable you to get an arm workout while doing your steps. They machine also works fine without them. The counter gives you steps, calories, time and strides. It will turn itself off after a few minutes of no use. I have not looked to see how to replace the battery. This will be handy to use while watching tv and safer than climbing my stairs up and down 20 times. ... show more

This is a simple stepper machine ready to use right out of the box. I didn’t even need to open the manual to figure out how to start using it. Aside from screwing it the adjustment knob, it’s ready to go. The battery is even already installed in the digital display/counter. This is a nice component to add to my at home workout. It’s easy to pull out and use anywhere since there is nothing to plug in and it takes up such a small amount of space. It does have some weight to it, but it’s easy to move around. This mini stepper is easy to set up, easier to use, and takes up minimal space. It arrives with comprehensive instructions yet is so intuitive that the instructions are not even needed! There is a dial to install on the front that alters tension for the desired level of workout. There is a gauge on the top to measure time, calories burned, and steps taken. The size of it make it easy to store in the living room to help one remember to workout while watching TV or a movie--if you are part of the modern ADHD train, then this is a very big positive. If things are out of site, they are out of mind. This is compact and clean enough to not create an eye sore, so it is an item that begs for regular use!     • Decent basic stair stepper.
I keep telling myself that I need to work out more. Every opportunity I get to test out an exercise device I generally take to add to my arsenal of "you have no excuse not to use these" exercise equipment. This stair stepper arrived all in one piece with just one real installation step which is screwing in the adjustment knob. There is some regular maintenance involved which includes lubricating some joints with some provided oil. Regarding the actual use of this stepper, it is very basic. I feel the workout, but it isn't intense from the get-go. You have to use if for an extended period of time to start feeling it. With that said, the parts seem to be well made and should last a long while. I will continue to use this and see how well it helps in the end. Just note, this isn't a difficult or intense workout so if that is what you are looking for, this might not be for you. ... show more

This is a great little dynamo with one caveat. You might need a place to use this if you are a bit unsteady on your feet. I placed by furniture that I can hold on to. At least until I get used to it. It is solid. It's smooth. It's adjustable. It's what I've needed for days I can't go outside (Texas heat) or make it to the gym. My adult stepson said he found it surprisingly useful. For him, that's huge. I like that it's simple to adjust. I was very surprised by the weight due to it's solid construction. 5 stars ... show more

I like this stepper especialky bc its good for the price. It does what it says. Nothing to assemble except the bands that easily attach. What i dont like is that the tension, tgat i can see, isnt adjustable. You can adjust the height if the step but thats all. I ordered it as a sit down stepper to exercise for my legs, mostly my knees and i wanted to start a less tensiin workout tgen gradualky work my way up to a more rigorous one. This stepper is very well made. Its heavy in weight so it doesnt move around while youre working out. The pedal are a nice size and have an upraised lip at the heel so yoyr eet wont slide off. . I dont feel like im gonna fall. They are anti-slip pedals. They give you a small bottle of oil, wrench and screwdriver. I loved this stair stepper. It was works well and gives you the option various resistance levels. You do have to somewhat put it together but it’s very simple to do. It has several options to track different things such as time and or calories burned. I have it placed on an area rug so it doesn’t damage the floor. I have not seen any damage to the rug or surrounding area. So far it works well. It does squeak a tad but nothing major. Now I can climb stairs as I watch TV! ... show more

    • Ready out of the box!
The only thing I had to do was attach the optional resistance bands for my arms and screw in the tool to create more resistance on the stepper. I like zero resistance, making me step faster, which gets my heart rate up quicker. This definitely gets the heart going super quick but it really doesn’t feel like too hard of a workout. Very easy to do while watching TV. Love it, seems very sturdy and well made. ... show more
