The left pedal needs to be attached counterclockwise. So righty loosey lefty tighty. Weird. And it’s just the left pedal, the right is normal.

I purchased this to rehab my knee from a total knee replacement. It works fine for that. The timer that comes with it is useless. It is inaccurate. It is advised as having a flywheel in it. I m not sure of that. It doesn’t feel like it has one but I didn’t take it apart so I can’t say for sure.

The bike doesn't stay in place. You constantly have to stop peddling and reposition the machine and then continue your workout. Very frustrating especially when you are on a time limit that you can use the machine.

My thoughts on this product.
First off, before buying this product I read a review saying the resistance didn’t really work and I was a bit nervous about that. I ended up deciding to buy it anyway. So far the resistance works just fine. If that changes I’ll edit this review. Another negative thing I’ve seen mentioned in reviews
is about it being used on hard wood floors .....The instructions literally say you should put it on a rug. (Which, okay the instructions say this so you don’t damage your floor with the machine but still.) Personally, I’m put it on a yoga mat when I use it. It still jerks a bit and moves forward but I knew that was likely going to happen. I have yet to see how it reacts on a rug and I am planning to try that out later this week sometime. With assembly it was pretty easy to assemble and didn’t take that long at all. My only problem is that some styrofoam was like melted onto one of the pedals despite the pedals being in a bag. I admittedly bought a cheaper version of this product that had its price because of some damage marks - I’ve noticed one so far - but I wasn’t warned about the pedal being like this.

I recently threw out my back and being immobile I needed to get some exercise as I was losing muscle mass. This does the trick. When I started I couldn't do 7 minutes now I am up to 45 minutes a day everyday. Best part is the resistance is adjustable. I twist it a little tighter ever 3-4 days. I am a
gain walking without the use of a knee brace or cane. Still haven't figured out what the tracker is trying to tell me but hell I don't care it works. Why spend upwards of $200 for a machine that does the same for a 1/4 of the cost?

Better for arms than legs
Color: Bright White
After a hip injury, I bought this for a little cardio exercise as a table-top arm bike. The friction version works fine for me. It has a small tendency to slide on a wooden table, but not badly, and it doesn't seem to damage the table. The timer is way off, at least on the one I received. For every 5
minutes of real time, its timer counts about 6m20s. It has no readout for pace, which would be the most beneficial. Once I recovered, I tried using it for a foot bike. On this friction model, the motion is very jerky. If my feet filled the straps, it might be easier to have a smoother motion. Overall, I am pretty happy with the TODO friction peddler for an arm exerciser. Great workout for your shoulders and you can increase difficulty and speed to get your heart rate up. But I recommend using a watch/timer if that is important to you.

Mini bike peddler exerciser
Color: Bright White
I love this exerciser. I can sit and use it anytime of day or night I want too. My doctor had me get one to use. It has been a life saver for me. I was able to go on vacation last year to Eureka Springs, Arkansas and walk around and explore the town. It has a 5 function monitor, adjustable tension kn
ob and a belt to strap it around the chair legs to keep it from sliding. Easy to assemble. Package comes with everything you need to assemble it, including the tools.

As dsecribed, but has a horrible odor
Color: Bright White
The product needs minor assembly and has no instructions, but it is pretty simple to figure out. Attach the front and back base feet with a washer and bolt and then screw in the pedals. (That was a bit tricky as they did not want to start their thread, but eventually they went on). Assembly took abou
t 10 minutes because of the pedal issue. I have left this out in an open area, as there is a horrible odor coming from the pedals. It transfers to your hands when you touch it, and just walking past it you smell it. (Like a mix of burning rubber and chemicals). I have wiped them with a Clorox wipe and hope that the odor fades in a few days. I put it on my kitchen island and stand near it to use as a hand pedeler for shoulder therapy, and I was able to pedal with my legs from a seated postion when it was on the floor, so I am confident that it is going to work for my needs. It just needs to stop smelling! :) I would recommend this. Nice digital display with a few settings for tracking progress. Great for the cost.

I like the product, but the pedals are attached to an unbalanced flywheel so the pedal movements are jerky because the flywheel moves somewhat side-to-side causing a less pleasant experience. This is especially true since I’m trying use it to strengthen muscles in preparation for hip surgery.

Just as my headline says, it is nice for the price. The other under the desk bikes were sometimes twice the price. It gets the job done but it does "move" when I put the resistance up. The reason for the four not five stars is that the manufacture's answer to it moving around is to include a flimsy s
trap to put around the legs of the chair. Big mistake....doesn't work and is dangerous too. One more thing, be careful how low your desk and chair are. My desk has a pencil drawer in it that makes it 4 inches lower than standard and my knees hit the drawer when I pedal. To fix this I push my chair away from the desk and stretch my legs to the pedals, which is not good for the posture, but it will do for now. Note: this is not a heavy duty exercise bike, this is something to "do" while you have to be sitting at your desk.
