The media could not be loaded. 1st battery without charging cut a bunch of dry as well as wet limbs. Impressively strong for being so small and light. Putting on the chain was easy and there seems to be no need for tension adjustment.

You get a hard case, an extra chain, 2 - 2000mAh batteries, everything you need for less than $50 and if you were looking to add a battery powered chainsaw to your tool collection, this is not a bad bet. It's easy to use, it has a really nice handle ad balance to it that just makes it easy to cut up little 1" to 4" brush kindling or brush. Some of these saws do not have a way to add chain oil, you have to add it manually which is simply impossible and be effective at the same time. This little saw has one and it even comes with a little oil container to make it even easier to add chain oil. Chain oil helps the bar and chain not overheat and keeps the bar from warping. Make sure you wear the eye and ear protection. So one last thing to add. There is only ONE downside to this set up. The beautiful, hard case you receive only works once you take off the bar and chain, CHEAP MOVE on the part of the manufacturer but it is reflected in the price though. If you are only going to use the saw occasionally then this one is great, if you are using it all the time, maybe get one with a bigger case. Still it's almost a 5 STAR! ... show more

Great tool for trimming branches. It a great set since it comes with 2x batteries plus gloves and eye protection. Took me a bit to install the chain but once you put it on, its ready to go and pretty easy to use. All you need left is a ladder to start cutting those branches. It's pretty quick to cut thin branches, as you go thicker it starts taking time. It's made of plastic and you can feel it, its not a premium tool, but it gets the job done.     • Hard to adjust tension.

For its size it works good. The big problem is with the chain tensioning system. It uses a small screw like a 10-24 thread. I don't see this lasting too long. The small size also makes it hard to get to, to make adjustments alongside the bar. Other brands have a front face mount dial type of tensioner which is safer and easier. It comes with two batteries which is nice with all of the safety equipment, glasses, gloves and the bar has a built-in top bar safety shield. If it wasn't for the tensioner, this would be a fine light duty trimmer. ... show more

Due to the time of the year, I only used this saw on my large tree to get a chain out that had been grown over. As you can see by the pictures it did a very good job, so it will be great for the small projects around the yard come spring when getting yard ready and then fall for fall clean up.
