Well worth the money for most home projects! Cuts like butter through up to 2” limbs. I took down some tree branches and was amazed how fast the job went. No oil, no gas, no muss or fuss. Just put it together, tighten and push the button. With the two batteries you get about an hour of continuous use, maybe less. After that you should disassemble, recharge the batteries, clean, reoil the chain and reassemble for round 2. Lightweight and easy on the wrists, good chains that cut well (so far), and a plastic case that holds it all. Very convenient. This is a great little saw that surprised us with its performance. It is very sharp and you need to be careful for sure. This saw is very light and easy to use. It seems to work best to put the branch closest to the handle and then the branch will not bounce around. The batteries lasted quite a while. We actually did not even get a chance to use both batteries because it was cutting great for us trimming trees and shrubs. We were cutting branches up to about 3" with it easily with2 hands on the saw. One handed cutting is good, just a little bouncy sometimes depending on the wood. We bought pink , and my wife loves it. This powerful little chain saw has cut through many branches, very powerful for battery operated. The safety cover is very useful for younger users. It is Iight weight and versatile enough to cut over-head if necessary. The performance and ease of use have had me recommending it to all my family. Only down side is that the chain has started to come off easily and I don't know where to put the chain saw oil, if anywhere. I have not cleaned it but think it would not be to difficult. ... show more

This little powerhouse is one of the best things I've bought on Amazon in the last couple of years. The price is so low that the risk is minimal. If it didn't work I could just return it. But right out of the box, this mini chainsaw was a delight. It cut through branches like a hot knife through butter, and the battery lasted longer than I did: By that I mean that I had cut everything I wanted the first day and there was still plenty of juice left. I used it again over the next two or three days before I recharged it. I had been planning to have a professional come and do some yard cleanup (limbs, branches, small trees) after a storm. But with this remarkable little chainsaw, I was able to accomplish all the work myself. Even the brush removal was minimized, since I could so easily cut branches down into small logs for the fireplace. The savings of not having to hire additional help has now paid for the chainsaw at least ten times over so far, and it's still working fine. I'm delighted to offer such a great review. This little dynamo really delivers! Some caveats: I'm a fairly fit man, generally handy and comfortable with power tools. Although this tool so small and easy to handle that it actually looks like a toy, it is very powerful. In the wrong hands it could really hurt someone. I would advise extreme caution if there are any children around. It has good safety measures built into it, but any power tool can be dangerous if used improperly. Since this is designed to cut things, and since it works very well, it is more dangerous than most other power tools. Be sure that it's used only by responsible adults. ... show more

BUY THIS!! I recommend this mini chainsaw to everyone who cuts branches, small tree limbs and much more. I have the 4” and it cuts like butter! Very easy to handle and it’s light weight. It takes the place of using loppers that tire your shoulders and back out! The battery lasted me over 1 hour of continuous cutting. Just keep the spare battery charged for more cutting! It makes clean cuts and it is not strenuous to use. It cuts by itself and no sawing motion is necessary. The chain is holding up well and doesn’t need oiling like a big chainsaw. . But, I do oil the chain after some use to maintain the chain. There is not a hole to add oil, I just put it on the chain and wipe the excess off. Make sure to keep the chain and unit clean after every use and the storage case is handy. The extra chain and battery is a nice extra. The gloves are plain cotton ones and the safety glasses are really cheap. The chainsaw itself makes up for that!! It is not noisy like a big chainsaw. This is an amazing tool to have. This little chain saw is great. I just received it about a week ago and it's already proved it's worth every cent. I've pruned a rather large tree and removed several shrubs and it's still going strong. After using it for over an hour it's still holding it's charge!

This is great for small trimming jobs. It's lightweight and easy to use. Does a great for small branches and shrubs. It's a plus that it comes with 2 batteries and chains. The chain was a bit tedious to replace, battery lasts a decent time. Good purchase for the price
