Overall I'll give it a 5 star since it came with everything as advertised. I like that it came in a hard case that keeps it safe and organized. It worked right away, I did try running it immediately, but then charged the batteries before putting it to work. I cut about 20 different branches ranging in size from 3/8" up to 4" in diameter. I didn't have any 6" branches that needed to be cut, but based on how quickly and easily it cut through the several 4" branches I believe it won't have any trouble cutting through a 6" branch. My safety switch sticks a little and doesn't always engage so that's why I gave safety 4 stars. I gave the battery a 4 star because I haven't used it enough to see the life of it. It's lithium so I figured it can't be bad. I'll update later after I've used it more. Overall I think it is great and will definitely recommend to friends and family. ... show more

This mini chain saw packs a lot of power. I haven't tried to saw through any 10" logs like they show on tv, but I have used it on 4" to 6" inch logs and it has no problem with that size limb or branch. Haven't had a big enough job to run out of battery power, but even if I do have a bigger job, the saw comes with two batteries. You can continue working while the first recharges. This tool is lightweight, very comfortable to maneuver, plenty of power to slice right through small to medium limbs. One drawback is since it's made to be used one-handed and has a chain guard on top, so you can't cut starting from the bottom (unless you're double jointed and can turn your hand 180 upside down). My wife bought me this as a gift for my 70th birthday, which was Aug. 15. I was really impressed with the look and feel of the device and especially with the carrying case. I contacted customer service because i was unable to access the video on using the device. Customer service responded right away with instructions.
