  • Bits good, case great
These bits are the tradtional titanium coated bits that most manufacturers offer. There's nothing worng with them as general purpose wood and plastic bits. (For metal, I only trust Cobalt bits - the material, not the brand.) The smaller sizes are duplicated since breaking them is very easy (already lost a 1/8" in a water heater install.) But as long as you're not too hung up on brand, replacing the broken ones is a snap. And the case is EXCELLENT. It's a book style case with three folding sections each holding bits. All sizes are clearly marked and the case and latches are solid, so abuse isn't an issue. So buy this set and replace the bits with quality black oxide or titanium replacements as they break or get lost. ... show more

  • A Great "Honey Do" Drill Set
Being a proud owner of a Milwaukee battery powered 3/8 drill, I found this drill set to be a perfect companion for all the "honey dos" and house projects that pop up, planned or otherwise. Quality is Milwaukee and the drill bits are excellent. The set includes 17 sizes between 1/16 through 1/4, plus three bits beyond 1/4 inch; 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2. The shank of the large bits are designed to keep from slipping in the drill chuck. The case is a small to medium size box that organizes the bits perfectly. Highly recommended - great product. ... show more

  • High Quality Bits PLUS a High Quality Case!
I was very pleased with the quality of the bits in this package. Just as impressive was the nicely made case they come in which fits into the previously empty slot in my Milwaukee 2410-22 M12 case! So many of the other name brand drill and driver sets come in a cheap case that breaks within a few weeks of purchase, but this one ain't going to have any such problems! The case is solid with rubber bumpers on the ends and a very simple yet effective latch mechanism. I also like the fact that the bits lift out of HOLES in the bit holders instead of being held in by those infuriating clamp type holders which end up hurting your fingers trying to pry a bit out, or worse, breaking one of the small bits in half in the process! If you are looking for a quality set of drill bits to compliment your drill/driver tool, you would be hard pressed to find a better choice than this one! While these bits will work with any brand of drill, if you don't already own a Milwaukee cordless drill/driver, this drill bit set will give you an idea of the quality this brand offers. Their cordless drill/driver tools are even more impressive than their drill bit packages! ... show more

  • Great versatile set of bits
I use this for my model airplane hobby. Two things I really like about this setup is the swing out drill holders and also the fact that they have two of the small drill sizes because these are the ones you will break eventually but will already have a back up to continue what you are working on. Just be careful removing and replacing the bigger bits as they are in the holder rather tight and a slip along the bit will cut you. ... show more

  • Good value
As a Handyman Contractor, I go through a lot of drill bits. This set is a good value. I agree with one reviewer that the small ones break easily. But then again, I've never seen smaller bits that did not break if you don't keep your drill straight. I have tried more expensive bits and they do last longer but eventually wear out. For the money, these are my favorites. My only complaint about titanium coated bits is that they are difficult to sharpen on a Drill Doctor. I also like the drill index and carrying case. As long as I am careful to put them back, they are always where they need to be. I also like the size selection. Most small sets don't come with a 1/2" bit. ... show more

  • Milwaukee makes good shop tools
This makes my 2nd set of these. If they last as long as the 1st set - it will be another couple years of hard abuse before they need replaced. Don't know why they outlast the others; but they do. They're 4" grinding wheels are of same great quality i.e. cut fast, long lasting. Now if Amazon would only stock them again and put on a special! ... show more

  • These are Cheap bits-- can't even drill in MDF
I like Milwaukee products, but these are very cheap bits. I am an avid DIYer-- and these bits just heat up, and the wood/MDF just builds up on the bit, and does not peel off the bit. Even when I take the bit in and out a few times, while drilling one hole-- they just stay clogged and heat up and smoke. One bit already broke. I will never buy these again. ... show more

  • A Very Nice Set of Drills
This little set of drill bits is a very good deal. They are quite sharp: so sharp that you need to be careful when you take them out of the case. As to durability, I can only say that I'm no pro, but I haven't broken one yet. Here's one thing I really like-- the flattened shanks allow me to use the 1/2 inch bit in my 3/8 inch drill. ... show more
