If you have a portable screwdriver these are handy to have around since the hex shape goes straight into them. I had purchased this once before quite a while ago and the smaller drill bits if you're not careful will break. But like I said if you're not careful as I'm sure I just put too much force on them. I lost some bits broke some others but I still went back to these as they seem the best value on Amazon. ... show more

Just got to a project that I needed this type of bit. The fist time I used it drilling a stater hole in wood the sleeve on the bit broke loose and it spun while the bid stayed stationary in the wood. Thinking it was just one bad bit I used a smaller bit, which did the same thing. BTW, made in China, totally worthless. Do not buy these bits. So, after procrastinating on my project, I have to put it off and order some American made bits. ... show more

I made these last as long as i could, yes it's my own fault i lost a couple here and there throughout the year, but the rest burnt out quick. Even on just wood or drywall only got a couple handfuls of uses out of each one at best. If i were to choose again, i regret to share id spend the little extra for Milwaukee. They would also break the smaller ones of in the wood when working on houses. It was unfortunate, i really wanted these to work out. These are still worked better than the concrete bits i bought later, that were SO SOFT they folded as i was pushing down. I was highly disappointed i bought those. ... show more
