This drill set has bit sizes from 1/16th thru 3/8ths. It has a nice storage case. The bits are well thought out because it has two 1/16ths, 3/32nds, and 1/8ths. I used a 1/16th without any problems. Then broke a 3/32 trying to enlarge the same hole. The bit snapped and flew across my work area. So definitely wear safety glasses. It didn’t land near me and I didn’t see it in motion either. I don’t think it should have broken at all but I’m not a tool expert. These are cobalt bits. I’ve never broken any others like steel, masonry, or titanium-dipped. Also, I was using a drill driver not a hammer or impact drill. Maybe that broken bit was defective. So 4-stars! ... show more

I was drilling some 3/16" holes in some scrap steel and my bits, several different brands, would only drill 2 or 3 holes before giving up. I tried my bits on other steel and they worked fine. I am not sure what the type of steel I am trying to drill is but I had put a lot of fabrication effort into it so I wanted to make it work. These bits are pretty cheap so I wasn't sure about buying them but they worked great , buzzed right through just like it was ordinary steel .I only used one bit to drill all the rest of the holes, I haven't tried it on stainless yet but I am impressed so far ... show more

Used the 1/8, 5/16, and 1/4 drill bit sizes all weekend drilling through red iron finishing my shop. Some of the metal was 1/16" thick, some maybe a little more or a little less. The 3 drill bits held up well and cut great. I was dipping them in cutting wax(drill bit wax) before starting a new hole. Always use a cutting wax or spray oil if you want your bits to last. Where I'm from, Tap Magic spray oil works great. I like the wax better. We have expensive bits that we use at work. I can't tell much of a difference so far.
