Most cars just have light stickers so it looks real but they don't actually work which is nice to have. It's lightweight and easy to carry anywhere. It has a 7.4V 500mAh battery that goes 12km/h. I purchased all four of the 1/12 scale MIEBELY Remote Control Cars (the McLaren, the Mercedes, the Bugatti, and the Lambo) so that I could race with my grandkids and what an exciting time we had. We "raced" for over forty minutes before the batteries started to run down. We ran them on a tennis court at our complex and didn't have any problems with the cars on the flat surface. The only complaint I had was the Lambo would drift to the right and I adjusted the steering by one notch, and it then drifted to the left. The rest tracked fine once adjusted but Lambo didn't have that "sweet spot" where it tracked straight. As far as speed, not the fastest cars out there but for the price it's a good place to start. I would highly recommend these RC cars to anyone who wants to just have fun racing against the "youngens" or anyone else for that matter. ... show more

I purchased this toy to be played with on Christmas. I wanted to make sure it was ready to go, so I charged the one battery and bought batteries for the remote. I'm glad I did because the thing did not work at all. It would have been a let-down to have given a toy that didn't work as a gift. My ex-wife would have had a field day with that. Luckily, I had enough time to pick out a different toy (which worked fine and got a favorable review from me) and it got here the next day. I have bought at least a dozen RC cars from Amazon, some better than others. If I had to describe this one, in just one word, it would be 'Crap'. ... show more
