Referred to as ‘Lean-to-Steer’ it’s a steering style that allows kids to feel like they are ‘surfing’ the sidewalk! Adjustable handlebars grow with your child With a T-bar that extends 10 inches, the Maxi will ‘grow’ with your child through elementary school (up to about 59 inches and 110lbs ), for years of fun and exercise. No assembly required; easy to remove handlebar No assembly is required; simply unbox your scooter, insert the T-bar into the scooter deck, and go! Updated review: Do Not Buy This Scooter! My 7 year old son was only riding this scooter in the backyard of my apartment building. Today he fell and was screaming in pain because the handle broke off this scooter while he was riding it! Thank God he didn’t break any bones but he does have pretty impressive bruises all over his body!!! Pictures attached. After about a ten uses a back wheel worn out. See a picture. For a $140 scooter it's unacceptable. ... show more

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE these scooter
Color: Pink
LOVE LOVE LOVE these scooter! We have a blue maxi for our son (4.5 yrs) and pink maxi for our daughter (2.5 yrs). If you're deciding between the mini or maxi - go for the maxi!! Will last longer and I'm so happy we didn't get the smaller version for our daughter. The maxi is perfect!

  • BEST SCOOTER EVER!
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. I’m not sure if this product needs more positive reviews but here I am giving five stars to an amazing scooter. I bought a cheap one here a few months ago and it broke and my son was so sad since he loved it. I got him a two wheel scooter but he didn’t like it he can’t ride it. He is four almost five so after searching for a new scooter and reading the reviews we decided that this one was going to be the one for Christmas. He absolutely love it and the ride is so smooth and this thing gets fast too. He loves it and play with it every day! All his friends want a ride on it. This scooter is extremely sturdy and is heavier than the other brands out there. It’s more stable and I think that makes it safer too. I definitely recommend it, the colors are awesome too. I will be getting one for my daughter when she gets to the same age as my son. ... show more

  • Quality scooter- safe and worth the $
Color: Indigo
Friends suggested this scooter for our petite 4 year old and when I saw the price compared to other scooters I was shocked. We decided to order the “bigger kid” version (not the mini) so it would last longer for her. It fits just fine and her 11 year old brother loves it too. You can tell it is durable, super safe and there is a reason why it’s expensive. My daughter can fit into size 3 clothes still and it works for her so if you are wondering if you should get the smaller or bigger one I would size up. She’s learned quickly to ride it like a pro! ... show more

  • Best money spent for my kid
Color: Caribbean Blue
We moved to a new area and all the kids have these scooters. I bought this for my son and now he scoots everywhere. Even in the house. He is normally a hermit hiding in his room playing on a cell phone no matter how many times we hide those darn things, but now he frequently asks to go outside to use the scooter. He will even get up and get ready for school in the morning just so he can scoot there. This is HUGE for a kid with major school avoidance issues. We've had it for about 2 months and except for the dirt from his shoes it still looks pretty new. I've even used the scooter after dropping him off at school. I'm 5'5 and slightly above the weight limit for the scooter, and it doesn't give me any trouble. It is a workout though! I also use the scooter to carry light groceries home after dropping him off at school. It will hold a half gallon of milk on each side without tipping over. I seriously love this thing. ... show more

Color: Blue
Nothing more to say about this excellent scooter. If you are like me and have been reading all the reviews you can find to purchase the "best" scooter for your little one, you probably already know quite a lot. One thing I can add though is I got this to replace the Mini and found this significantly heavier than the Mini. I was regretting not purchasing this in the first place because the lowest adjusted T-bar height is the same as the Mini's and therefore has the advantage of a longer "play life" for my son. But he goes much faster on the Mini and can easily lift it up stairs and over bumps and the curb if need be. If your little one is starting to scooter early or is a little on the small side (like mine), the Mini may still be the better starter scooter even though it's tempting to go big at the get-go. ... show more

  • Best purchase for my 4 year old, scooter loving, grandson!
Color: Blue
I was so happy with this purchase, and am so glad we moved up to the Maxi. My grandson just turned 4 years old...we got him the Micro Mini for his 2nd birthday (he has teenage uncles with whom he keeps up, so he is an exceptionally coordinated and fearless little guy for his age). He absolutely LOVED the Micro Mini and rode it to literal death for two years. (A side note on quality: even though his abuse of the Micro Mini scooter resulted in some of the more "plastic" pieces eventually breaking off, the scooter continued to perform, and he rode it happily until we replaced it on his 4th birthday with this Micro Maxi) We are thrilled with the even better construction and durability of this Micro Maxi scooter, and love the fact that this one will "grow" with him since the bars are adjustable. He LOVES this scooter even better than the first one (even my teenage sons, his uncles, are able to ride it, and love teaching him tricks). Since it has the same "feel" as the Mini, in terms of how to ride it, there was no issue for him switching to the bigger version...as I said, he likes it even better! ... show more

  • Her scooter was what all the kids liked at her birthday party
Color: Pink
Expensive but worth every penny. I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter for her birthday and she is now almost 5. It's still in her house. She is always riding it on their hardwood floors around the bottom floor of their home. We also bought a pink horse head that fits on the handle. Her scooter was what all the kids liked at her birthday party. She feels safe on turns compared to other scooters. I has a slight lean when you turn and she doesn't feel like she is going to fall off like with other scooters. The handle goes up and down for your child's height. This scooter is worth the investment!! ... show more
