Do yourself a favor and spend the extra couple of bucks for the queen size. It’s worth it. The pillow came vacuum packed and felt heavy as a rock, but after a 30 minute tumble in the dryer on low with some dry balls, it came out great. Plenty of stuffing and good support. These pillows are larger than expected and quite comfortable. They are filled with shredded foam, so I removed some of the foam in mine to make them a bit less firm. They do smell pretty funky/plastic-y when they come out of the box, so I’d recommend sticking them in your clothes dryer on low/no heat with a few dryer sheets to help get rid of the funky smell and also to help them fluff up. I was not expecting much but still hopeful when I ordered the 2-pack of these memory foam pillows - one for my grandson & one for me. There was no strong scent & they expanded within a few hours. I've been so disappointed so many times & the first night I was NOT happy with the pillow ... at all. I thought the search would go on ... BUT being the eternal optimist, I removed some of the shredded foam & tried again. And it was amazing!! It was firm yet soft & extremely malleable - the best pillow I've bought in years!
