Purchased this after trying just about every other pillow on the market for neck pain. My husband has arthritis and some spinal disc degeneration. He is now sleeping better and his neck pain has somewhat subsided. The pillow shape allows for his head to rest in a softly structured hollow, which allows him to sleep on either side or his back more comfortably. So my only complaint is the pillow cover came torn from the box which I really dislike so now I’ll have to replace it at some point, as far as comfort level it was incredibly comfortable and it was a little high but I took out the base pad and it was at a perfect height, I didn’t like the smell but I been venting it and it should be gone fully soon. I love the support of the pillow and it’s semi firm not to soft it retains its shape, it’s so hard for me to fall asleep, but with this pillow I dozed away so fast and I slept so well. For years I have had to hug my pillow with a hand under my face to keep breathing easier. This has lead to shoulder and back pain and waking up numerous times each night.
