We just love these dishes! The color is a beautiful robin egg blue, and they have a very nice feel to them. I was looking for awhile for a dish set that would go well with my coastal theme and these work beautifully! I didn't catch that the dishes have a lip around the edge, but we ended up really liking the way they look. Some of the plates were a little rough on the bottom circle, but following the advice of another review, I just lightly sanded them and they are nice and smooth now. I had a few pieces that had noticeable flaws and one chipped bowl, but the company sent replacements after contacting them. They were terrific to work with.
