I sadly and most disappointingly purchased a foam mattress. I toss and turn and wake up with tons of pain. I purchased this with the intent of putting on my bed as usual. I got home one morning after a looonngg shift and popped open this box. And put it in dryer for 1 minutes just to be safe (not sure what that really does). And then I threw it on my bed in a pile in the middle. I laid on it and passed out fast asleep. I slept great and woke up pain free. Now I fold this up when I wake up and store it under my pillows.. then when it is time to go to sleep I plop it in a pile in the middle of my bed. I live this pillow top protector, I'm just sure I bought exactly what we needed.. we have a cool-gel memory foam pad already on our mattress, and I needed to get a cover/protector for that and mattress. But although the pillow top is fluffy and I love it, we can't feel the coolness of the memory foam anymore🤦♀️🤷♀️ if anyone else is looking to do the same thing or is concerned that their mattress might be too thick, don't worry! Not the most plush but for the price not bad. I have a 10 inch memory mattress with no box spring it fit really well. I will update once I sleep on it a few nights.

We bought this to place ON TOP of our 3 inch memory foam topper as a protective mattress layer TO HELP THE “TOPPER” NOT FEEL HOT with an added layer of comfort. Yes it’s somewhat thin but we had no expectations to add complete comfort support. GET A TOPPER if that’s your end game goal. Some reviews indicate that it’s not helping with back pain etc. that’s not it’s purpose, it’s a protect mattress cover!!! We feel it’s a very nice cover and serves its purpose in an excellent way with an additional thin layer of comfort. The combination of this cover and memory foam topper, our guest bed is literally like sleeping on cloud.
