I bought 3 different mattress pads to choose which one to keep. My previous one had to be thrown out but I was tired of it anyway. It was massive and very heavy, almost like a pillow top, and it was lumpy. It looked like a mogul ski course. It was soft and cushy and plush, but it was like sleeping on a bunch of pillows or something. Oh, and it was very difficult to get it into my washer and dryer. Every time I washed it, I thought "maybe this time I should take it to a professional place", but each time it washed up just fine. It was just stupidly huge and heavy, especially when it was wet. Anyway, so keeping all of that in mind: 2 of the ones I bought were a joke. In terms of their thickness, evenness of the padding and their weight, they were what I was looking for, but the material on the underneath side is that slightly crinkly paper-like stuff that doesn't last long. They were the SLEEP ZONE mattress pads. This MATBEBY mattress pad though... wow. At this price, the quality is FAR higher than I expected. The box it comes in is TINY, so be aware of that. It looks like a box for flat sheets or something. So I thought I was sent the wrong item at first. I took it out, cut the bag open (which had virtually no air in it), and it "inflated" as expected. It's not plush and fluffy, no, but the quality of the material is outstanding for this price. It's soft and it just feels like it will last a long time. The photos make it look very cushy and fluffy and plush, but it's just yet another thin cheap mattress pad. When I'm in bed, I'm pretty sure I can't even feel it, but after all these years sleeping on that plush mogul ski course, this is very nice. :) I'm loving the simplicity of this thing. This thing is also very light and small and will fit extremely easily in my washer and dryer. I'm actually looking forward to when I need to wash it. Yes, I didn't wash it when I opened it up because it's odor-free and feels perfectly clean, but I'm really looking forward to this being just as easy to wash and carry as the rest of my bedding. This mattress topper is great. I don’t remember when the last time I slept this good was. A few tips: -I saw some reviews mentioning bed bugs. I did not experience this and im not sure its that common now because it is vaccum-sealed inside the packaging. I, however, still would advise opening it as close to inside the washing maching as possible. I have a top load and opened it directly over that just in case, and washed in hot water. I know it say to wash in cold water, but for the first time, id rather be safe than sorry -When it comes out of the wash, some of the cushion bulks up in some spots. This is a really easy fix— just level as you're making your bed. Honestly, I even if you don't, it’ll probably just level out when you lay down. -The pictures makes it look a little tougher/firm but this thing is like a cloud. I never want to get up. Overall this item saved me from having to buy a new mattress right now and I love that. Great product and worth every penny. ... show more

We'd been using makeshift waterbed pads since the original wore out. Waterbeds are decidedly out of fashion and it was a gamble that this, with its deep sides, would even stay on an old-fashioned single bladder waterbed mattress. It was a real struggle getting it on; my husband and I together barely managed. But it works! And it hasn't pulled up and away from the mattress, despite my husband's famed restlessness. <smile> Even though the makers clearly never thought of it being used on a waterbed. i’m a college student living in a dorm, and with that i have a full size bed that is like a weird plastic texture? i had to make due with it till my paycheck came and ordered this, and let me tell u, it has 1000% changed my entire bed. it’s soft, comfortable and stays on with the extra deep pockets. it doesn’t even feel like my bed is plastic anymore, and has completely changed it. i couldn’t imagine how amazing this would feel on a normal bed. 10/10 recommend u will not regret it!!! ... show more

So, I had had my old mattress pad for what was probably decades and it finally went. . . so in shopping for a new one came across this product and decided to give it a try! It's a winner!! I bought a Queen size and it fits perfectly, elastic all the way around, very plush and it breathes, It doesn't hold the heat and stays cool to the touch. Needed a new mattress pad, so ordered this one at 2pm and it arrived at our front door 5 hours later! Washed and dried per manufacturers instructions and made the bed. Nice and soft with generously deep corners, so should not ever slide off the mattress. Love it!

While this is overall a decent product the image and description of the photo are a bit misleading. The topper is not the fluffy cloud like topper it appears to be. It is certainly comfortable but after added it to the bad my husband and I both agreed we don’t feel much of a difference.
