This unit came quickly , thanks to Prime. Smoker was packed nicely, no damage during shipping. Assembly was simple and easy. Build is strong and sturdy. Seasoned , then ran first smoke with pork ribs , turned out great. Since then have smoked pork butt for pulled pork and polish sausage twice. Both were awesome , great smoke flavor. Easily maintains temperature, even though I was around 50 degrees outside. Temperature control is analog, so you have to watch a little to get desired temperature dialed in but then it’s good to go. Only improvement would be if you could add more wood chips during a long smoke, but if you have temperature dialed in , it will get back to temp. relatively quickly after closing door , so not a huge deal. Overall, so far a great smoker especially at that price ! ... show more

I have used this smoker 3 times so far and have to say there is nothing better then eating ribs and smoked chicken as soon as it’s done! My product came a little banged up and some paint missing around the door. The inside of the door was also a little dented. It works really well and it’s great for what I wanted. I have been a line cook for 7 years and always wanted to get into smoking. It is easy to use but not so easy to clean out. I use wood chips and the burn out after about 2-3 hours. I don’t mind switching them out. I try to check the temperature every half hour to an hour and haven’t noticed changes. So far it’s working great! I would give it five stars if it wasn’t a little heat up when I got it. Would recommend for any beginner smoker like myself! It’s been about half a year now since I’ve started using and the legs keep coming off. Still love the smoker just be careful if you move it a lot like me. I keep it in my garage and bring it outside each time I use it. I use it at least once a week. I have cooked turkeys, beef ribs, baby back ribs, so many chickens, and sausages in it and never had any problem with any of them. I use a digital thermometer and the smoker is always at the temp that the built in one says. ... show more

I recently hit middle age and while I didn't suddenly discover WW 2, I DID get into smoking meat. I looked around and decided on this electric smoker from Masterbuilt. It is a good size, I can put a 10lb brisket in here easily, or plenty of sausage links or ribs or pork chops..whatever you can think of, I like the electric heat control as it allows you to fine tune your temp when you have meat on it...I have had to replace the thermostat on the front door as it filled with condensation, but the second one has as well. Apparently this is thing...I added a seal around the door and it hold smoke great. If you are hitting middle age and the idea of smoking meat is creeping into the back of your mind, give this one a go...I don't think you'll regret the purchase. ... show more

I find it hilarious that there is an option with the purchase to have the smoker assembled for $199. I am 73 years old and it took 20 minutes to put the handles and legs on. I certainly hope nobody falls for this option!! The only negative I have to say about the smoker is not being able to actually set the temperature. You have to guess which level to set it at and then watch the temperature gauge to see if you need to adjust it. Other than that it works great and the pork roast and burnt beef ends were scrumptious! Update.....Since you have to open the door to add wood chips, I decided to buy a pellet tube. It burned and smoked for 5 1/2 hours without having to open the door and letting the smoker cool down and have to heat up again. I would suggest one definitely!! ... show more

After ready reviews about the digital temperature gauge I was a bit hesitant to buy it. I have been watching for a sale for months and had hoped it would be on prime day but instead the price went up. So I looked at the analog. It plugs in like an electric fry pan and it is great! While it doesn't Say the temperature, just look at the gauge on the door to adjust the temperature. The grate that holds the water and wood chips is a bit clunky but I'm using a pan on bottom rack to hold the drippings so no problem. So far I've made bacon wraped Dijon mustard chicken breast and county style pork ribs. Very yummy and going to smoke a brisket later in the week. So far I LOVE IT and it was cheaper than the digital! Legs are easy to put on and comes WITH the smoker unlike the digital that you have to purchase separately. ... show more

It’s easy to clean a little heavy to move but an all around great smoker for someone who’s just getting started or that is interested in an electric smoker. It is great we used apple chips first and we do have to add moved a little over every hours. But it’s small but has 3 racks
