Easy to build. Needed to really dig thru the box to make sure I had everything though. Looks great! As I built it, I thought I needed to make adjustments to doors and braces. I waited until I was done, and I’m glad I waited, the weight of the grill helped make the cart sit right. The ignition needed a little tweaking, but otherwise work better than I thought it would. Grill looks great, seems more sturdy than our 2 previous grills. Assembly was fairly easy but time consuming and not very clear photos and instructions. We gave this as an xmas gift to our son. It was a lot of pieces to put together, he and our SIL did it together over a couple of hours. Wasn't difficult, just a lot of pieces, but I guess that is expected since it has a side burner and enclosed stand below for storage. Our son was thrilled with both extra features. Now he can hide the propane tank and keep his grill tools out of the elements by putting them in the cabinet instead of hanging on the side. He also loves that he can use the side burner and not have to cook inside at all! We used it right away and it worked great! ... show more

Didn't arrive in perfect condition but no major damage. Bent flanges and a scratch here and there. But, works good right out of the box and no missing parts. UPDATE I bought this grill because it is supposed to be built of stainless steel. After having it only a few months and keeping it on a covered porch it is rusting away. There is alot of steps in the assembly (about 2.5 hours). I didn't find the steps confusing, but time consuming. There is a support bracket that I thought was missing, but was actually bundled together with the side burners. Also, there were 2 extra corner braces snd the screws to go with them... I looked over the instructions several times and they appear to be extra (perhaps designed for a different model grill?). Besides that I used every single part. The grill functions well and is sturdy. (What I would expect at this price point) The back of the grill is hotter than the front. I love this feature for putting extra heat on a thicker piece of chicken. I like having the side burner, although I probably won't end up using it much. My only real complaint is that the thermostat might not be very accurate. It looks to me as if the end of the needle is scraping numbers... kind of dragging on the inside. I see a circular scrape line caused by the cheap needle. Not enough for me to change the rating. I would recommend this grill. ... show more

UPDATE: There was an included promotion with this grill that was not honored. So, I had to drop the rating one star :-( Companies should either honor a promotion (in this case a free grill cover) or not offer it. Not honoring a promotion does not foster a good customer relationship. Originally a part was thought to be missing from the kit, but that was actually not the case. This grill was purchased as a gift and the person with the grill actually found the 'missing' part tucked up inside the grill. Although this grill is on the spendy side (for me, anyway) the performance and quality appear to be good. After a few weeks of use, reports are that it is a good grill. It seems to have a good heat disbursement and performs as well as you'd need a grill to do. The doors close evenly, so it looks good, too. I'd recommend this product to anyone wanting a solid grill. ... show more
