The blade on this tape is one inch wide and is designed with a four rivet nose clip that will handle the wear and tear of daily use. Easy to read scale is identified down to the 1/16". I love these tapes. Easy to read and good accuracy, and I like having the additional fractional increments. They are a little less durable than some, so I had to replace my original when it bent. But given the price I think it's a good value.

I like the the tape marking and the color. The pencil sharpener is convenient and having a note pad also. The spring clip I not sure if I like. I think it is very well worth the money.

This is the best tape measure for shop use. The reverse marking have made it so much easier and accurate to measure and mark projects. I have confirmed the FastCap scale accuracy by comparing it to my PEC precision rule and to each of the other FastCap measuring tapes I own. It is nice to have a measuring tape at each work station and know that the measurements will be the same. The locking features, pencil sharpener, and rubber boot are all usable features and not gimmicks. The measuring tape is amazing. It's accurate, durable, and easy to read down to the smallest fractions. The built-in pencil sharpener seems gimicky, but then I actually needed to use it and I appreciate it! I'm amazed at the quality for such a good price. This is one of, if not than my absolute favorite tape measure I have purchased. I can't say enough good things about it, it is well built and well thought out. i hate having to second guess if I am correct on what subdivision I am counting, this problem is taken care of here. I also love the built in pencil sharpener and white surface you can temporarily write down measurements on. The only two drawbacks I have are that it could mark out each foot more clearly and I wish they made a longer one (like 25-30 ft.) ... show more

I really like this tape, as it is really easy to read, works great. Replacing another that fell in the saltwater canal here :/ If they made a smaller 6 or 8 foot one, I’d get it for my tool bag.

I saw a tiktok from Mercury Stardust about this type of measuring tape and immediately went to purchase one. I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to figuring out the exact fractions of measurements, so having them marked on BOTH sides is such a game changer! Tbh I didn't even realize it had a pencil sharpener in it until months later because I was so excited about the ease of measuring things. No more flip flopping the tape around to try to read it better. No more counting from the half/quarter inch mark to try to figure out the fraction and eventually being like 'meh, close enough' (spoiler alert, its almost NEVER 'close enough').
