Use these daily for laying out foundations. Quick reel. Quality tape. Only downside I’ve had which causes me to keep buying more is I’ve had a few that have snapped quickly. Unless I wanna be cut 18’ all time I gotta get some new ones.

We are putting in a couple mobile homes and other buildings on some land. We are working in terms of acres and need to place things accurately. A 100 foot tape did a good job. Anything by Milwaukee is my go-to tool.

    • It works.
Works as it should. Some reviews have stated they have problems getting the tape to attach to an edge. I have the opposite result from time to time. It tend to not let go of the studs I attach it to.

Great product! I use this every day! Only thing about it I don’t like is that it’s metal and it’s very thin. I’m afraid that it will bend if it ever gets snagged on something like most tape measures.

    • Great tape; needs a release button
Great tape, except there's no bypass/ release to unspool the tape... so the handle has to fly around while it rolls out.... really annoying. Used tons of tape brands over the years and it's aways nice to pull the tape by just pushing a release.

    • Best 100 foot tape I've ever had
I was a layout/ lead at a structural steel manufacturer for 18+ years and am now a QC Inspector at another fabrication facility. I've used Craftsman, Lufkin, Stanley, Dewalt and Kobalt tapes and this is by far the most durable and user friendly tape I've had. As for the negative reviews, the handle can be moved so as not to be in the way when unwinding. I use a 4 inch spring clamp to keep it off of the floor once I extend it to the needed length and it works great. I'm now in need of a new one because my current one was ran over by a man lift. Milwaukee is the only one I'll buy. ... show more
